[Following the events of the previous episode, the setting takes place the next day at I.R.I.S, the photography studio Gene works at. Gene had just arrived into the building a few moments ago, and as Gene climbs up the stairs towards the elevator, he enters inside and goes up to the sixth floor where he is making his way to the studio floor. Gene arrives but suddenly, he spotted Arielle speaking with another man, this one being somebody who doesn't work for I.R.I.S. While normally Gene wouldn't be phased by this, after her recent event with Diedrich, Gene is concerned about Arielle getting hurt again. This also might be a sign of his feelings growing for Arielle, but after learning that Arielle only used him as a fling before, he's still unsure how to approach Arielle. Seeing how clingy Arielle is with this man, Gene decides to turn his attention towards work, so he approaches the two to ensure Arielle is focused on their next assignment.]
Gene: Hey, Arielle. I need you to get ready soon.
Arielle: Oh, right! It was nice meeting you, Aaron!
Male: Uh, Adam.
Arielle: Same thing.
[The male figure exits the building and as Arielle proceeds towards her tent, Gene rushes to catch up to her, then walks alongside her. Gene lets his curiosity and jealousy take over, as he starts to question who that strange man was.]
Gene: Arielle, who was that?
Arielle: Just a guy I met on Igniter.
Gene: I see that. But you mentioned you be more careful with who you hook up with.
Arielle: And I am.
Gene: By bringing them into the studio? Arielle, I don't think it's wise of you to-
[Arielle stops to turn her attention to Gene.]
Arielle: Look, I appreciate your concern, but I'm not so dense that I'd jump into another man's arms right away. You understand?
[Arielle continues to her tent until Gene attempts to comment back.]
Gene: No, I know, it's just-
[Arielle stops him.]
Arielle: And even if I did, it wouldn't be your business anyway.
[Arielle resumes to her tent as Gene watches her from afar to respond with a disappointed, but tiresome look. Gene is tired of Arielle messing with his emotions, so he decides to drop it and move on.]
Gene: Fine, do what you want.

ACT 1:
[A few hours later, Gene is sitting on a studio chair as he is sorting through the pictures he took of Arielle on his camera. Each one stylized a unique and different pose of Arielle. Gene focuses on the one where she is looking at the camera and nearly puckering her lips. Gene begins to blush as he reminisces his feelings for Arielle. Suddenly, Everly calls out to Gene and snaps him out of his trance.]
