[The scene opens with the sounds of trumpets and drums playing in the background. It sounds as if a jazzy song is playing in the background. For any other setting, everything would appear as normal, but for this setting, is what's happening inside Kyle's mind, as if we're seeing how he's presenting from his perspective. Suddenly, a flat power point background appears before the audience, with a subtext stating "The Three Rules You Need to Follow".]
Kyle: The three rules you need to follow to sway any person's heart!
[Suddenly, Kyle stands up to present to his friends in a power point fashion. Kyle winks to the camera, then leans beside the text with one leg crossed over the other.]
Kyle: Hi, I'm Kyle! And as an expert in romance and the psychologic expansion of the physical and human mind, I'm here to show you the three rules of how any person can get a girlfriend!
[We shift out of Kyle's perspective where Clyde and Gene are making disturbing looks while Derrick facepalms to himself. Derrick isn't sure who to be embarrassed for. For Kyle? For himself? Most likely, it was Kyle.]
Derrick: Ugh, not this aga-
[Kyle interrupts as everything shifts back to his perspective.]
Kyle: First, you gotta make her smile! You can always start with a good joke and not something half-assed or you're destined for failure. You see, the best way to attract somebody is to start with a joke, because everybody likes a good jokester. Girls don't like it when you approach them through flirting, but if you open with a joke, after introductions of course, you've shown her that you're a stand out, funny guy, and you already gain points than the numerous guys who've already tried to flirt with her tonight. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, GENE!
Gene: But I didn't say any-
Kyle: Rule number two! You do the move! But it's not just no ordinary move. Oh no! You got to- [Kyle does a very specific flirty wink while making a "ch" sound.] ...show your groove. Studies show that complimenting can distract them from any flaws in your appearance. Even if you don't perfectly do the groove correctly, it will always work. This can also catch any person off guard, which makes it easier to apply to compliment and then... you move on to phase three.
Kyle: You pull the trigger. You've eased their mind from considering all possible doubts and thoughts. That's when you make your move! But it has to be done right away, otherwise it's doomed to fail. And any sign of awkward stuttering or freezing redirects them from a positive response. However, to make your move, you don't just ask them out. You've got to invite them out. Like say you have a spare ticket to the Owens Brothers concert or let's say there's this new restaurant that you're interested in trying out. If ya ask them out this way, it makes them more willing to come along, rather than feel she's being hit on. And those are the three rules you need to follow to persuade any person's heart!
[Kyle portrays himself with a completed pose, as the background fades behind him to reveal Kyle's explanation is finally finished. We cut out from Kyle's perspective to see that Clyde, Gene and Derrick have blank faces. What Kyle said didn't really phase them, so they have nothing to say to Kyle... well except for Clyde.]
Clyde: Honestly...
[Gene and Derrick turn to Clyde's direction as Kyle looks at Clyde with a skeptical look.]
Clyde: I think that's a load of-
