Marjorie heard the door and walked to open it, seeing both Charlotte and mia standing there. She smiled softly and went to hug Charlotte, but she pushed her away. Marjorie looked at mia, confused. Mia rolled her eyes at Charlottes' behaviour. "Dont touch me!" Charlotte snapped, making Marjorie jump slightly. "Charlotte, enough, or I will just take you home!" Mia warned, but Charlotte shook her head quickly before falling into Marjories arms. "Sorry," she whispered. Marjorie smiled at Mia slightly as she held Charlotte in her arms. It felt different. Normally, the pair would fit together when they hugged, but something was different. Marjorie let go and looked at Mia again before walking into the living room with them both following. Charlotte sat down first, sitting herself down next to Carly.

She sat staring at the tv with an absent-minded smile. "Carly, move away," Mia whispered while watching Charlotte closely. "Mia fuck off! Like actually get in the car and leave! I'm fed up with you!" Charlotte shouted at the red head. Reece stood up and took Mia out the room.

"Char you okay?" Carly asked softly as she gently wrapped her arms around her best friend, pulling herself closer to Charlotte. "Carly, I'm fine, please dont worry. Mia is just a bit full of herself today and probably needs to be on her own for a bit" Charlotte told the young girl, wrapping her arms around her. "You give the best cuddles" Carly mumbled as she rested her head on Charlottes chest.

Meanwhile, in the other room, Reece was having very little luck trying to calm the mean red head. "Mia, if you keep being alert with her, then she will be on edge. Just let her be. We all stare into space now and again. If she's having flashbacks and you are already nagging her, she won't feel she can come to you when she's finally coming out of it." Reece told her while holding Mias arms to stop her pacing. She sighed and looked into the living room, seeing her content with Carly. "See, she's found comfort with Carly now because she's not picked up on what we have. She's so innocent with everything that she's calmed her right down." "Reece why are you always so annoying and constantly got to be right? She told me she was going to hurt me earlier while in a flashback, and I shouted at her but she did tell me that he tried to drown her" mia admitted as she looked at the floor. "He what?!" "Reece shut up, please. That's why washing up triggered her, and in the bath, she had to get out because she said she was going to hurt me" she mumbled, Reece pulled her in for a hug just as Charlotte walked into the room. "Amelia... I think i need to go home... please" she whispered with tears in her eyes.

Reece walked to Charlotte and wrapped his arms around her tightly. She fell against his chest as he held her close. "Talk to me. Why do you need to go?" He asked as Carly walked into the kitchen. "Mia" she mouthed, beckoning Mia out the room. The second Mia was close enough, Carly pulled the older woman into a tight hug. Holding onto her hoodie. "Carly, what's happened? What has she done?" Carly shook her head and just held onto Mia. "Carly, do you want me to speak to Marjorie about it?" She asked but Carly shook her head before rolling up her sleeve, showing a fresh red hand print. "Okay, sweetheart, its okay. Come with me" she whispered before walking her back in with Marjorie. "Marj, can you look after Carly and keep her away from Charlotte. She's only gone and hurt her again" she mumbled before letting Carly go. She pushed her into Marjorie gently.

Mia walked into the kitchen and pushed the door shut. "Char, i trusted you! You hurt her AGAIN! This stops now!" She shouted before gripping her arm the same way she done to Carly. "Ow Mia, please stop" she cried out with tears in her eyes. "No no no you done this to carly. The mark on her arm is bad! Do you understand! This stops right now. You know he's not here anymore, hes locked up for life you dickhead, and you know that, so this stops right now!" Mia warned her, just seeing red. Reece watched before stepping in between the two of them both quickly. "Marj, Marjorie here now!" Reece shouted as he carefully freed Charlottes' arm from Mia. Marjorie walked in and looked between the three of them. "Take Mia anywhere away from Charlotte now, please," he told her in a serious tone. Marjorie practically dragged Mia upstairs and into the bedroom, pushing her on the bed. She knelt infront of her, holding her hands. "Take some deep breaths okay, its all okay. I know you are worried about Carly but she is okay" Marjorie spoke calmly as Mia took some deep breaths.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Reece had sat Charlotte on a chair. He knelt in front of her and watched as tears streamed down her cheeks. "Charlotte, you need to take some deep breaths" reece spoke calmly while gently holding Charlottes hand. He looked up as he heard the kitchen door open. Carly stood in the doorway with bloodshot eyes. "W-wheres Mia and Marj?" She asked barely above a whisper. Reeces heart broke for the teenage girl. He wanted nothing more than to hold her and tell her it would all be okay, but that would have to wait. His priority was Charlotte. "They are upstairs, kiddo," he told her sympathetically. She turned away slowly, not even engaging with Charlotte.

Carly made her way upstairs, following the sound of voices. She gently knocked on the door before stepping inside the room. "Ignore me, I just didn't want to be on my own" she whispered. "Dont you dare tell anyone about this" Mia warned before patting the bed next to her. "You probably could do with a Marjorie talk aswell i guess. You have been affected more than me in her outbursts." Mia whispered as Carly sat herself next to Mia. She sighed as Marjorie wiped stray tears from her cheeks while Mia carefully took her hair out of her tight ponytail and gently played with it. "You are safe, so is Charlotte. Reece will keep her calm or put her in her place depending on her mood." Mia whispered. She felt carly rest her head on her shoulder before noticing her breathing slow every so slightly. "Mia, i dont know how you do it, but she's asleep. She's never slept on me, and I'm like her work mum. You are her rude aunt, and somehow she's asleep," Marjorie whispered. "I just have a great presence," Mia joked, them both rolling their eyes at each other. For the first time in a very long time, they were almost getting along.
