Mia wrapped her arms around Charlotte gently, pulling the blanket around her more. "I think we have woken up clingy today." Mia whispered

"No, i haven't!" Charlotte snapped at her before looking at mia and wrapping her arms around her tightly. "Sorry." She whispered as Mia chuckled slightly, moving the blanket around her shoulders more. "You're so cute,  you know that." Mia whispered, making Charlotte blush slightly. "I thought i was going to have to fight Reece for my girlfriend back. I think you might be straight for Reece. Do i need to warn Marjorie of some competition?" Mia teased just as Marjorie walked in. "Mia, shut up and be nice to her. You know Reece gives great hugs." Marjorie defended Charlotte before sitting on the other couch.

"Marj, you're on your own. Come and sit with us." Charlotte spoke quietly, making Mia roll her eyes. "Char, Reece will be back any minute. I'm not having us all squashed together again." Mia told her. "Maybe i am really clingy," she mumbled into her chest sadly. Mia rolled her eyes. "How about we get reece to get you some medication to take, and then you can have another nap?" Mia asked softly while rubbing Charlottes back slowly. "No, im okay." She whispered before moving away from Mia and sitting herself on the other end of the couch.

"Charlotte. Are you trying to be distant when all you really want is cuddles? It isn't going to help." Mia whispered, but Charlotte shook her head quickly. "Im fine, i dont need cuddles." She told her sternly before wrapping herself up in the blanket. "When you have finished sulking,  let me know." Marjorie sighed as she watched the couple interact.

"Char, would you like to come upstairs with me and we can watch a movie in bed so we can both sleep?" Marjorie asked softly, but Charlotte shook her head quickly before looking at the floor. "Charlotte, oi, come here you," Mia told her softly, but Charlotte shook her head again. "I dont really want anything right now. Im just going to sit outside for a bit."

With that, Charlotte stood up and walked out the back door into Marjorie and Reeces garden. "I give up, honestly.  I know she's poorly, but unless she talks to us and gets him out of her head, I can't do anything for her." Mia whispered calmly as Reece walked back in. "I will try and get some sense out of her," Reece whispered before kissing the top of Marjories head.

A few hours had passed when Charlotte finally woke up from her nap. Between Reece and Mia, they finally got her asleep after a battle. "M-mia," she mumbled as she slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Im here, baby girl." She whispered before moving to sit next to Charlotte. "How are you feeling beautiful?" She asked quietly as she wrapped her arms around her girlfriend.  "I feel better than i did earlier." She whispered while looking at the clock. "I've really slept that long? Im so sorry,  omg i - " she started, but Mia quickly planted a kiss on her lips to stop her. "You done?" Mia asked as she slowly pulled away, Charlotte nodded slightly before shoving Mias shoulder playfully. "That's my girl." Mia chuckled.

"I was talking to you. That was mean." Charlotte told her, making Mia giggle slightly. "Keep complaining about it, and i will do it again." Mia told her softly, Charlotte pushed Mias shoulder slightly. Just at that moment, Marjorie walked in and smiled. "Well, you certainly seem better. Look at you putting that mean red head in her place." Marjorie teased, earning a look from Mia. "Anyway, reece has made soup for everyone so when you feel ready, you can come and join us in the kitchen." She told them, Charlotte moved away from Mia and stood up. "Im actually starving." Charlotte whispered nervously before gripping mias' hand.

"I will come with you, dont worry. Let's go, sweetheart. " Mia whispered to her as she led the way into the kitchen. "Here we are." Mia said, making an entrance. "Of course you are." Reece joked as he rolled his eyes. "Char, go and sit down. I will just help Reece. " Mia told her softly. Charlotte nodded slightly before sitting down, a space next to her for Mia.

"Sweetie, are you okay?" Marjorie asked quietly, Charlotte looked up at Marjorie. "Can we just not ask, please? I do feel better, though." Charlotte whispered as both Mia and Reece joined their other half at the table. "Thank you." They both said in unison.

Marjorie and Charlotte left the kitchen and went to sit in the garden while their partners cleared up. It was actually sunny and slightly warm. They wanted to make the most of it. "So what's wrong? If you feel better, then what's bothering you?" Marjorie asked softly. "I guess guilt is eating me up, i just feel bad that you had to deal with all my emotions." Charlotte muttered. "Char you dont -" Marjorie started "-Dont tell me that i dont have to be sorry. I know all that, but i just feel bad." Charlotte cut her off quickly. Marjorie gave up trying to argue with her and instead pulled her against her chest.

The evening soon came around as Mia took Charlotte home. It was the first time she had been home in a while since Reece was happy for her to stay with them. Once Charlotte had kicked her shoes off, she made her way upstairs to bed before climbing in. She didn't bother to get changed first. Mia followed not far behind her. She smiled softly at Charlotte before turning or her bedside light and walking to shut the blinds. "Sleep it is then," Mia whispered, but Charlotte shook her head. "You dont have to. I just wanted to hide from the world." Mia kissed the top of her head and rolled her eyes slightly. "I will be up in five minutes."
