As unwell as Charlotte felt, she knew exactly what she had to do. She got up slowly and walked upstairs. On her way up the stairs, she gripped the handrail tightly while panicking slightly. She took a deep breath and slowly made her way to the bedroom. She sat on the edge of the bed as she waited for the dizziness she felt to pass. Finally, she managed to get back up, taking all the washing downstairs with her.

While Charlotte was in the kitchen rubbing her temples, there was a knock at the door.

She walked to open it to be met with Autumn, shortly followed by Mia and Carly. "Hi Autumn, is everything okay?" Charlotte asked softly while moving back to let them all in. "Yes, but i have a question, Charlotte. Can i give you a hug?" She asked after taking her shoes off, secretly shooing away Mia and Carly. Charlotte looked up at the taller woman before nodding slightly and wrapping her arms around her tightly. Charlotte rested her head on Autumns chest. She held the brunette closely. "You are okay." She whispered, only making Charlotte hold onto her tighter. Little did Charlotte  know, Mia picked up on the signs and called Autumn for back up. Knowing she could trust the older woman to help.

"Char, what's happened?" Autumn questioned, never letting go of Charlotte. She held onto her slightly tighter as she went to speak, and all that came out was a sob. "Okay, my love. You are okay." She hushed as Charlotte sobbed into Autumns chest. "Hey, it's okay. I've got you." Autumn hushed. As she looked up, she spotted Mia at the top of the stairs. Autumn gave her a series of looks, to which Mia nodded.

"Right, let's get you sat down, and we can try again." Autumn whispered as she walked Charlotte into the living room, Charlotte not letting go. "Okay, start again.  What's happened?" Autumn whispered as she kept her close to her chest. "I haven't been unwell since I've been with Mia, and he's been in prison, so today has sent me right back. I can't relax, i need to do as much as possible, but i feel like im going to pass out if i move too much. Mia found me holding the side in the kitchen, and i screamed at her. Im not allowed to nap or sit around.  I've got jobs to do. I can't tell mia. She will be cross that im still thinking about him."

Autumn moved Charlotte onto her lap and held her closer to her chest. Tears streamed down both her cheeks. "Can you hear my heartbeat?" Autumn asked before moving back on the couch, trying to help Charlotte relax a bit. "Autumn, dont let me go," Charlotte whispered. "I've got you,  now shh." She whispered while tracing patterns on her back. "Right, so firstly we are going to get you upstairs with Mia, then we will talk to her but dont worry, i will stay with you." She whispered before moving. Charlotte sighed sadly. "She's going to shout at me." She whispered as Autumn held Charlottes hand.

"Carly, can you just give us a moment, please?" Autumn asked as she entered the room. The young girl nodded before walking out and downstairs. Once she had left Autumn, shut the door and walked Charlotte over to the bed, sitting her down next to Mia gently. "Autumn, you tell her, please?" She nodded before taking Charlottes hand.

Just as Autumn was about to start explaining everything, Charlotte went really pale. "I-I can't," she muttered before standing up and rushing to the bathroom. As Mia went to run after her, Autumn gently grabbed her arm. "Mia, she's scared you will shout at her for thinking of him. But the last time she was this poorly was while she was with that dick, so she thinks she can't relax. She's so in her head about everything. Just please be gentle." Autumn told her quickly before letting go. Mia nodded slightly before gently opening the bathroom door.

As she entered the bathroom, her heart broke. She stopped for a second, watching her girlfriend grip the sink while trying to calm herself down. "Hey baby. It's me, Mia, your good-looking girlfriend." Mia joked as she gently placed her hand on Charlottes back. To start with, she flinched before relaxing again. "Auts told me about everything. How about you come and have cuddles with me for a bit?" She asked quietly. Charlotte shook her head.

Mia sighed before wrapping her arm around Charlotte and gently walking her back into the other room. Autumn moved on the bed slightly. "Charlotte, come here." She whispered, patting the bed, but she shook her head while trying to get away from Mia. "Charlotte enough!" Autumn raised her voice before taking hold of both her hands. Making Charlotte look at her. Charlotte tried to pull away but then gave up. "Mia, Autumn, please leave me alone. I don't want to sit here. I have jobs to do, " Charlotte whispered nervously. "I won't let you go till you have calmed down. Now that is enough!" Autumn told her sternly before pushing Charlotte back gently to sit on the bed.

Mia watched Charlotte closely. "Auts too much," Mia whispered calmly before grabbing the blanket off the end of the bed and wrapping it around Charlotte. "Now calm down. Im not him. You are poorly, and poorly people get special cuddles while wrapped in blankets." Mia whispered calmly, Charlottes whole body shook. "Right, im going to drop Carly home, and you two can get some rest. I dont want another phone call telling me you are being stubborn." Autumn whispered before taking herself out of the room.

Once Autumn  had left, Mia turned to look at Charlotte. "Oh baby, I wish you had told me sooner that you were feeling this way. I could have done something to help sooner." Mia whispered calmly while gently placing a blanket around Charlotte and heading her close. Charlotte quickly shook her head, sitting back up. "Amelia, you aren't listening to me! I dont want cuddles. I have jobs to do!" Charlotte snapped.

Mia knew she wasn't going to win this battle. "Go on then." Was all she could get out. Charlotte sighed before getting up and rushing downstairs. Mia followed behind slowly. "Just know that I'm doing all the jobs with you." Mia told her sternly as she stood in the doorway. "Mia, just go away, please. He never had to get in my way. He just let me get on with it! Why do you have to be in the way!" Charlotte snapped before turning to look at mia, pain plastered across her face. "Have fun cleaning." Mia said bluntly as she picked up her keys from the side. "M- i didn't mean it like that." Charlotte quickly jumped in front of the door. Pushing Mia back with the last of her energy. "No, it's fine. You do the cleaning, and i will be back in an hour." Mia told her sternly.

Charlotte shook her head quickly. "Dont leave me." Charlotte whispered nervously as Mia moved her away from the door and slammed it behind herself.
