Marjorie continued to drive while listening to Charlotte. She could tell that she was getting more and more confused about the past.

"Charlotte, that is enough. Please take a deep breath. I know you aren't feeling very well, and you are stressing, but right now, you need to take some deep breaths and stop rambling." Marjorie whispered before pulling into the Carpark by the beach. "Listen to me! I've heard what your husband has done to you. I know that Mia can be a bitch but she couldn't do some of the things you are blaming her for." Marjorie mumbled nervously of Charlottes reaction. "You have no idea! Dont act like you know it all! The stories i haven't dared share with anyone. You have no idea. The abuse, the nights he would starve me, the times he wouldn't let me sleep. That's not even the half of it. Marjorie, you have no idea. I dont want to do this. Yes, i might be poorly, but i dont need you all to baby me. If i were to pass out, i would come around after a while and be fine again, the times that have happened. Marjorie, you have no idea." Charlotte finally snapped.

Marjorie looked at her best friend, tears threatening in her eyes. "Let me help you then, talk to me. I can't help you if you bottle it all up. You are the first to force everyone into therapy, but you need it the most. You are destroying your relationship because you can't see past him, and now you are blaming Mia. Shes a bitch but she would never and you know it!" Marjorie spoke sternly as she held Charlottes hand. "You have no right to comment on my past! No, right! You didn't even notice, Marjorie! I dont want to do this. Take me back, please, " Charlottes shouted at her. Marjories heart broke as she listened to her friend. She didn't say anything.

Marjorie ignored Charlotte the whole drive back to her. As she turned off the car, Charlotte got out and slammed the door before barging her way into the house. "Char- " Mia started "All of you fuck off! Dont talk to me! I dont need any of you!" Charlotte shouted while making her way upstairs. Marjorie looked around defeated. "Dont even ask. She's confusing her ex and you, and when i corrected her, she just snapped. I really think I've just lost my best friend." Marjorie told both Reece and Mia before leaning against Reeces chest.

"Right slow down and explain it again, but breath this time." Reece told her while holding her hands. "She got worked up and started shouting at me about her ex, but she was blaming it on Mia. When i corrected her, she just shouted at me. She wanted to come back, and here we are." Marjorie explained slowly while holding onto Reece. "Im going to talk to her, so just be ready and mia, look after her please," He told them both, Mia took hold of Marjories hand.

They watched as Reece made his way upstairs. Marjorie slowly turned to look at mia. "Can i have a hug, please?" She asked, barely above a whisper. Mia kept quiet and wrapped her arms around the slightly shorter women. "We both know Reece will sort this mess out. It will be okay for all of us." Mia mumbled before the sound of muffled shouting echoed from upstairs. "Char will calm down. Just let her shout it out first." Mia whispered calmly while keeping her arms around Marjorie. At this point, the red head was confused about who she was actually trying to comfort, herself or Marjorie.

"You're probably right, Reece will just hug her for a bit till she calms. I mean, he's helped me enough times, and Autumn let slip the fact that he used to calm her as a child." Marjorie said quietly, Mia nodded, listening. "He was amazing with little Auts. All that girl needed was her parents' love, but she had me and Reece. She was safe with the mean red head and the mean Reece." Mia giggled slightly. "I mean, we would take ourselves to the furthest away room and play just dance together.  She was too young to be exposed to Rogers games, so we did what we could to keep her safe, and it worked most of the time. Shes grown so much, yeah shes a bitch but she learnt from the best." Mia rambled quietly, making Marjorie smile. "Im just glad that you guys had each other. Yeah, you guys met for the worst reason, but Reece and Autumn wouldn't be who they are today if it wasn't for you. Auts needed her mum, but let's be real, she doesn't need her if she treats her own child the way auts were treated. You helped her in ways a parent should. I've heard the stories about younger, softy mia." Marjorie jokes, earning a glare from Mia. "Oh give it up Mia, tou can act the bitch but deep down you arent all that bad. You looked after reece and Auts, and you take care of Char. Even if you aren't showing it, we all know deep down this is killing you, " Marjorie whispered as Mia tightened the embrace slightly. "You're right," she whispered. "But if i hear of this moment again,  you better pray for your car. I know reecey treated you to a new one not that long ago. You said yourself that Autumn learnt from me. Who do you think taught her to destroy Rogers' car the way she did?" Mia smirked, making Marjorie go quiet.
