As Mia walked upstairs, she could hear crying. As she pushed open the bedroom door, she stood as Marjorie tried to calm Charlotte down. "Reece has stepped in. I can hear his voice. Winters are not here to hold auts back. Someone is going to get hurt." Charlotte muttered as Marjorie rocked her gently.
"Charlotte enough!" Mia raised her voice as Charlotte snapped round to look at Mia. "I-i um, I'm sorry. I'm fine." Charlotte muttered, taking a deep breath and quickly wiping her face with her sleeve. Mia walked closer, and Charlotte stepped back, Marjorie watched closely. "Mia, let her come to you. You're scaring her into the corner," Marjorie tells her quietly. "Charlotte, what is going on. You are never like this. It's ridiculous that you think that all this is okay when it's not. " Charlotte shook her head at mia. "I'm over it now. it's fine. Go and find Reece or something, and i will be down in a bit. " Charlotte tried to get rid of Mia, but i didn't work. "Char, I'm going to hug you," Mia told her as she walked straight over to her and quickly pulled her against her chest.
Charlottes whole body tensed, and she started to shake physically. Mia didn't let go no matter what. "This is silly now. You are fine, and you have everyone here, so this little act needs to stop. You say all this stuff, but deep down, you know yourself. It's not true. Auts repeated what happened earlier, and i know you, Charlotte. You would never!" Mia told her, sobs rippled through Charlottes body. Marjorie watched in shock. "Mia fuck off, like really just go home and out the way. Let us look after Char because right now you are the one hurting her!" Marjorie shouted as she tried to push Mia away but she was to strong.
"Marjorie she is my girlfriend this is our relationship to sort out, not yours." Mia told her sternly. "I want Marjorie" Charlotte whispered nervously but Mia kept her arms around her. "Mia please let go" Charlotte practically begged. "I thought you were all about concent and listening to each other! I have never felt more unsafe with you before! Please just go, " Charlotte shouted while pushing Mia away. "Reece! Autumn!" Marjorie shouted to them. The siblings both ran upstairs. Marjorie was stood between Charlotte and Mia. "Right Mia, come with me," Reece told her as he walked her out of the room.
Autumn shut the door behind them and looked at Charlotte. "Char, can i give you a hug?" Autumn asked softly as she walked closer, leaving room between the two but opening her arms. Charlotte nodded and walked to Autumn. "You are okay, and you are safe," she whispers as Marjorie traced patterns on her back. "I want to love her, and i want her to love me back, but she's scaring me," Charlotte whispered. "Okay, listen, Reece will speak things through with her now," Autumn whispered. "Marj, can you make sure she doesn't make reece hate me, please?" Charlotte asked quietly, Marjorie nodded. "Okay, my love. I will leave you with the guard dog, " Marjorie joked as she pushed Autumn playfully. "Marjorie thin ice," Autumn stated, making Charlotte giggle slightly.
As Marjorie made her way downstairs, she could hear Reece and Mia. "I get having Carly there made you see yourself as a child, but at no point did that mean you could hurt Charlotte. You have not only hurt her, but you gave turnt into her ex. Think back when I called you, the fear in her eyes, the bruises, the hatred she had for herself... sges slipping back to tgat same place, but this time it's because of you, mia, all because of Carly staying at yours! I can't believe im having this chat with you right now, " Reece told her sternly. Mia sat quietly as Reece spoke. After a moment of silence, Mia looked up at him. "What have i done?" She asked herself while looking at Reece. "Reece, how do I even fix this. I've broken her spark, " Mia said sadly as she went to stand up, but Reece pushed her back. "You arent going up there now, no chance you can write her a letter and then if she feels like talking she can come to you but you are not to force her, touch her, kiss her or even slightly raise your voice at her. Do you understand!?" Mia nodded as Reece handed Mia a notebook and a pen.
With that, Marjorie walked in after hearing the conversation. "Marj, is she okay?" Mia asked quickly as Reece wrapped his arms around Marjorie. "No shes sobbing to Autumn but because Auts can relate tovthe situation because of how her rat of a father treated her shes the best person for her to be with" Marjorie spat, Mia sighed and started writing. "Baby, be softer, please... she's trying to fix it, " Reece whispered, making Marjorie sigh. "Sorry, I didn't nean it to vome out like that. She's okay with Auts, " Marjorie mumbled, trying to be nicer to Mia.
"Can one of you give this to Char?" Mia asked as she folded the letter. Handing it to Reece as he was closest. He walked upstairs. "Guys, i have a letter from mia. It's up to you if you read it," he said as he handed the letter to Autumn. Charlotte looked at her and nodded. "You read it, please," Charlotte asked nervously, but Autumn nodded and opened the letter. "Hey, sweetheart. You know im not the best with words, but Reecey thought it would be better for me to give you a letter instead of me upsetting you again. After speaking with Reece, i have realised how unfair i have been acting towards you. Im still here, but I'm just staying downstairs out of the way, but if you want to talk, I'm here. You are so brave, and im so sorry, baby girl. All my love Amelia xxx" Autumn read the letter quietly and slowly so Charlotte could take it all in. "I want to talk to her," Charlotte stated, Autumn let her go. "Go on then, you know where she is, and i will stay here in case you need me."
