She tossed and turned in her bed, dreams of the man invading her thoughts. How he saved Ogron from the train, how he constantly seemed to save her. How was he? And why was Isis not telling her anything about him?
Feeling restless, she got up from her bed and walked onto the balcony to get some fresh air, the breeze brushing against her hair granting her a sense of contentment. But a small part of her felt worried. This man was no joke, he had power she had never seen before nor felt. And that was something coming from someone who is supposed to have the strongest magic in the whole magic dimension.
"Who are you..." She muttered to herself before sensing someone behind her and snapping her gaze towards them. Her eyes widened when she saw him again, the cloaked man. "It's you..." she said breathlessly as he slowly approached her. "What, who are you? Why are you helping me? Why did you help Ogron?"
He stood in front of her in silence.
"I know you can talk, I heard you when you helped Ogron. If you're on their side then we cannot be allies." She said warily, hoping that he wasn't allied with them. If he really wasn't on their side, the wizards would be the least of their problems.
"I am not." He said, his deep voice rattling her ears. She let out a sigh she didn't know she was holding. "Then why did you help Ogron, or me for that matter?"
"He doesn't matter, he's nothing, just me..."
She frowned, the way he spoke gave her slight chills. "Then tell me who you are, I have to know..." The man remained silent for a moment, seemingly in thought before shaking his head. "No. Not yet."
"N-Not yet? You appear in my life and you won't tell me anything about you? How can I trust you don't have any bad intentions?!"
"You don't." He said coldly before disappearing in thin air, leaving her perplexed but most of all frustrated. "Seriously?! Why does he keep leaving me in the dark?!" She rubbed her temples in frustration. "Already have a lot on my plate...going off now..." She looked back briefly towards their quiet home. "I could just check first..."
Activating her Breath's Vibrations spell she got nothing, as expected. She then used her Air's Calling spell, if he was still on Earth then she could-
"Ah!" She cried out in pain and clutched her ears, staggering back. Something had blocked her access, he blocked her access. But that shouldn't be possible, unless he had a spell? But even then, her powers were no ordinary powers, it was the power that gave birth to the magical dimension itself. Someone, anyone being able to block some of her spells would have to be ridiculously powerful...perhaps even on par with Isis.
"That can't be possible..." She breathed breathlessly before shaking her head. "Just when I thought I knew everything I need to know...god! Why didn't Isis tell me about him? Is it because I'm not good enough o-or...maybe I'm not important enough, maybe I'm just a welder not the true holder of this power..."
She lifted her hand and saw her power flow of out her unannounced, she quickly shook her hand and it disappeared. "Can't lose control...not again." She sighed shakily and gripped the handrail as she recounted the experience, the horror of not being in control. "Not...again."
