As she was waiting for the news that Tecna desperately needed to the tell Winx about the mutants, and how the research on healing them from Tritannus' spell on them, she scrolled through the past messages from Diablous. While the older ones consisted of emojis and humour, the latest ones were dry and often one sided - coming from her, reflecting their turbulent relationship.

She knew that this was normal, somewhat. For a couple to go through a rocky period in their relationship and would come out stronger once they go through it - or rather that was what she was telling herself to stop herself from worrying.

She pushed away thoughts of him, though she would have recurring nightmares of him destroying the magical dimension and dragging her away to her fate. She was still in a turbulent relationship with Isis and it seemed like she had no one to turn to.

Her thoughts, however, were halted when Tecna entered the room with news about the mutants.

"According to Timmy, the mutants were temporarily healed with fairy dust before turning back to their mutant forms."

"So good ol' fairy dust isn't going to be enough...great, I was under the notion that this would be too easy." Aerilyn responded sarcastically.

"The only thing we can do now is earn our sirenix. Are we all ready to dedicate ourselves to the sirenix quest?"

The rest of them nodded, with Aerilyn hesitant. After all, the caveat of them losing their powers if they did not complete it within the next lunar cycle was something she dreaded.

"I'm just worried...if he wants my power and I lose it..."

"Well if he wants it that badly, he'll want to make sure we complete the sirenix quest, right?" Stella said.

"We have to take this risk, for the magical dimension." Bloom said with determination. "And we know you will too."

"Guess the hesitant act wasn't going to fool you guys." Aerilyn said with a soft smile. "Alright then...let's do it."

They all joined hands around the book and said. "We accept the sirenix quest." The book of fairies revealed a new page, with a mysterious piece of text. 'With every twist and turn, deeper you go, until the Shimmering Shells sing with the ocean's voice.'

"Shimmering Shells? They must mean the oldest entities in the ocean of Andros, their song guided the tides and currents to crave the islands and the trenches."

"Next stop, Andros."

As they were preparing to make their way to Andros, they were approached by Roxy, asking how the meeting with the council went. Being that they didn't have much time to speak, they promised to fill her in after they returned. Roxy, albeit a bit disappointed, accepted and returned to their dorms.

After a quick check in with Queen Ligea in the city of Tritons, they went on with their quest. Musa uses her powers to listen to the singing of the shimmering shells and guide them. It lead them to a foreboding trench, with seemed to be the entrance of an ancient maze.

"A maze, seriously?! Can't we just have, I don't know, fought a monster?" Aerilyn said, voicing her disappointment.

"If we ever go to your planet, I'm sure we will." Flora replied. They entered the maze, but were immediately separated a powerful current. There, in the darkness did she spot herself. Powerful, confident in her abilities, the perfect ruler. "Poor Aerilyn, so pathetic. You wish you could be me, my power is great, I am the perfect ruler of Skyaldia. Me and Diablous have no qualms."
