She woke up with a start, panting heavily as she clawed her chest. The world around her was normal - but what she went through changed her. Her friends were surrounding her, trying to calm he down as she continued gasping and panting.
"Aeri, calm down!" Flora exclaimed, coming to her side. But she couldn't calm down, her breaths came out fast as she continued to breath in and out rapidly. "It's okay, give her time to calm down." Aisha said, knowing what she was experiencing all to familiar.
The rush of what happened, Isis, the figure, how she was so close to being snatched away forever by him - for whatever reason he wanted her for. The place - how abstract the dimension, if it could've even be called that, was. Soon, her breathing grew slower, her eyes focused as she took a few shuddering breaths - feeling the ground before her. It was ice. But she didn't have the capacity to question, she was still in a state of shock.
Before long she had finally calmed down, her friends by her side with sympathetic expressions. "You okay, Aeri?" Bloom asked.
"I...no..." Aerilyn said with a wavering voice. "Nothing makes sense anymore...nothing she said could be true anymore..." Their eyes widened as she implied Isis and looked at each other, but before they could speak, they were interrupted by Nebula. Aerilyn could clearly see that they were surrounded by some sort of barrier - no doubt from Nebula.
"Your friend has returned, you suddenly disappeared on us, we thought you escaped looking for help." Aerilyn remained unresponsive as she was deep in thought - out of it.
"Let us out Nebula!" Bloom demanded, earning a chuckle from her.
"You're in no position to be bartering winx, your planet is mere minutes away from becoming a frigid ice globe. Now, as earth fairies can not enter Sibylla's cave, you have to be the ones to deliver the wizards to us."
"Never!" Roxy shouted, stunning Nebula to silence as she walked up the cell walls. "For all we know, you'd kill the wizards and hurt the humans next - my people! I won't let you hurt them!"
"Oh? And what exactly do you plan on doing to stop me?" Nebula said mockingly, Roxy gritted her teeth.
"I challenge you to a fight." Everyone was left agape, and Aerilyn was snapped out of her trance.
"Roxy, you can't be serious. Nebula is a major fairy! Comparable to an experienced guardian fairy!" Bloom exclaimed, gripping Roxy's shoulder. "I can't let you get hurt..."
Roxy's expression softened as she placed a hand on Bloom's and looked to the rest of them. "I've been taught by the best, I know I can at least stand up to her. You're all exhausted from fighting and protecting me." She took a deep breath. "Now it's my turn to protect you."
"Roxy..." Aerilyn said getting up shakily and putting a hand on her shoulder. "Don't die."
Roxy chuckled softly. "Gee thanks for the reassurance." She said sarcastically.
"Aeri's right, please be careful Roxy. Remember the potions combinations I taught you." Flora said.
"And your combat skills." Aerilyn said.
"And to hone your senses." Musa said.
"And to use your brain." Tecna said.
"And your body's agility." Aisha said.
"And to always be determined and never give up." Bloom added finally. They all looked towards Stella expectedly.
"Oh um...ah! And don't look directly at the sun, only I have the eyes for that." Everyone responded with a laugh at Stella's joke before looking back at Nebula.
