Aerilyn remained silent aboard the Hawk. Her companions apparently had boyfriends, and god knows how they feel about their girlfriends losing their memories. One guy, apparently her ex, Diabolus, was trying to make conversation, but it felt strained and uninteresting to her. When he got up to talk to another specialist, Bloom joined her, as her ex wasn't there either.

"I dated that guy? I'm no expert on feelings, but...that guy looks like he wouldn't even consider me an option." She commented as she watched him kiss his current boyfriend.

"It's...complicated. He was under a spell to fall in love with you." Bloom said hesitantly.

Aerilyn's heart sank at the information; her first love was a fake. No doubt she was heartbroken.

"Who did-" Aerilyn began before being cut off by Bloom.

"That's a long story, but just know that if you see a hooded man, you come to me, okay? Don't interact with him." She said firmly. Aerilyn hesitated at first but nodded in agreement. Bloom smiled and patted her shoulders before leaving her alone once more. Seeing all the other girls with their boyfriends filled her with a sense of bitterness. She hardly found it fair that her first love wasn't even a real love; no-one fell in love with her.

"Aerilyn..."

She turned her head around, expecting to find the source of the voice - only to find nothing. But as she moved her head back, the whole scenery had changed. She was floating in a void. "Hello?! Where am I?!" She screamed, immediately freaking out as she flailed about, desperately trying to find her footing. Immediately, she felt two muscular arms wrap around her waist as she was gently guided down to the floor that had materialised out of thin air. She whipped her head around and reached for her scythe, only to find nothing in her pocket and a hooded figure in front of her.

"Calm down, Aerilyn, I'm not here to hurt you..." He said in a soft voice in an attempt to placate her.

"Then where have you taken me?! Who are you?!"

"You really have lost your memory..."

She watched him warily, noting Bloom's warning.

"I won't hurt you, I promise I won't...you mean too much to me."

She hesitated, torn between finding a way out of the place and listening to the man's words.

"I just want to help you regain your memories...I'm a powerful being, even more powerful than Isis." Her eyes widened at his words, more powerful than Isis? If she couldn't give her back her memories, then maybe this man could.

"Alright, but I swear if you try anything-"

"I won't."

She relented and relaxed her stance, allowing him to move closer to her. Lifting his hands, he cradled her face in his hands, causing a slight blush to spread across her face. "I-Is this really necessary?" She huffed as she looked away.

"Hey, I'm just trying to lighten the mood." He chuckled. "And at least my hands are soft."

"S-Sure thing, now do what you have to do."

Swirling dark mist began to surround them as she heard him mutter some phrases, before it beamed at her forehead. She closed her eyes instinctively, waiting for something to happen. Nothing. She opened her eyes, and the hooded figure remained silent.

"Your powers look similar to mine, but clearly, it didn't help." She heard a sigh expelled from him as he dropped his hands from her face, earning a tang of disappointment from her.

"I had an inkling it wouldn't work...you truly have to figure it out on your own..."

She looked around at the void before looking back at him. "So, what were...we before my memory wipe?" She noted the tension in his posture as his hood faced her before speaking.
