It was already midnight when Sabrina got home after a very long day at the studio, recording for her upcoming album. She scanned the room, searching for you, and finally found you on the sofa, soundly asleep with the remote in your hand.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips as she gazed at your face—your lips slightly parted, your breath steady. She grew concerned, though, as she realized you might hurt your neck if you stayed in that position.

Gently, Sabrina shook your body and tapped your skin to wake you up. “Honey, we need to get you upstairs to bed... you might hurt your neck here.” You rubbed your eyes and looked up at Sabrina's blurry figure. “S-Sabrina? You’re home,” you murmured, lifting your arms in a silent request for her to come closer.

“Uh-huh, I got home a bit late, but at least I’m here now, right?” Sabrina said, planting a few kisses across your face. “Miss me?” she teased, making you laugh softly.

“Of course I do, but... can we go to sleep now? I’m so, so sleepy,” you replied, yawning. Sabrina nodded in agreement and helped you to your feet, wrapping an arm around you as you both made your way upstairs.

Once in bed, you curled up together under the covers, the warmth and softness of the mattress enveloping you. Sabrina adjusted the pillows and pulled you closer, her hand gently stroking your hair.

“I missed you so much,” she whispered, her voice a soothing murmur in the quiet room.

You snuggled closer, sighing contentedly. “I missed you too,” you whispered back, closing your eyes.

As the minutes ticked by, the room was filled with the soft rhythm of your breathing and the occasional murmur of endearments. The exhaustion of the day gradually melted away, replaced by the comfort of each other's presence. Soon, you both drifted into a peaceful sleep, wrapped in the embrace of a love that felt like home.
