It was a calm evening, and you were both sitting on the couch, enjoying the quiet after a long day. Sabrina had been acting a little strange all day—playful, but with a spark of nervous energy behind her usual confidence. She’d been hinting that she had something special planned, but she kept it a secret no matter how much you asked.

Now, as the sun set and bathed the room in a golden glow, she suddenly jumped up from the couch. “Okay, okay! I’ve been dying to give you something, and I can’t wait any longer. Just... sit tight for a sec, okay?”

You smiled, intrigued, and nodded as she practically sprinted out of the room. A minute later, she came back, holding something wrapped in her hands—carefully, almost like it was delicate. She sat down beside you again, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

“Alright,” she said, taking a deep breath. “I’ve been working on this for a while, and it’s kinda... a big deal to me. So don’t laugh or anything.”

You looked at her, your heart swelling with love for how much effort she clearly put into this moment. “I would never laugh.”

Sabrina handed you the wrapped item, biting her lip nervously as you slowly peeled away the wrapping. Inside was a beautifully decorated, handmade scrapbook. The cover had your initials and hers, intertwined in an intricate design, with little hand-drawn doodles all over it—tiny stars, hearts, and little music notes.

You opened it, and on the first page was a picture of the two of you from one of your early dates, along with a note written in Sabrina’s handwriting: "The day I knew you were my person."

As you flipped through the pages, each one was filled with memories—pictures, notes, ticket stubs from concerts and movies, and even small trinkets from places you had been together. It wasn’t just a scrapbook; it was a timeline of your relationship, showing all the little moments that made it special.

Sabrina watched your reaction closely, and as you reached the last page, your eyes widened. There, in the center, was her most valuable gift to you—her grandmother’s necklace, carefully attached to the page. Sabrina’s grandmother had passed down the necklace to her, and she had always worn it as a symbol of family and love.

You looked at her, your breath catching in your throat. “Sabrina... this is your grandma’s necklace.”

She nodded, her eyes misty with emotion. “Yeah. I—I wanted to give it to you because you mean that much to me. My grandma always told me to save it for someone really special, and... that’s you.”

You blinked back tears, overwhelmed by the gesture. “I don’t even know what to say... this is the most beautiful thing anyone’s ever given me.”

Sabrina smiled softly, reaching out to take your hand. “I just wanted you to know how much you mean to me. I know it’s not some fancy, expensive gift, but... it’s filled with all the things that are valuable to me. Our memories, the little moments... and now this necklace. You’re everything to me, and I wanted to show you that.”

You leaned in, your heart full of love as you kissed her gently. “It’s perfect. I love it... and I love you.”

Sabrina let out a breath, her shoulders relaxing now that she could see how much the gift meant to you. “Good. ‘Cause I was kinda freaking out about it,” she admitted with a sheepish laugh.

You smiled, holding the scrapbook and necklace close to your chest. “You didn’t have to freak out. It’s absolutely perfect.”

She grinned, her eyes sparkling again. “Well, now that you have it... I think we should make some more memories to fill up the rest of the pages.”

You chuckled, pulling her into a tight hug. “Definitely. Let’s make all the memories.”

Sabrina kissed your forehead, whispering against your skin, “Forever.”
