It was early in the morning, and you were still fast asleep when Sabrina quietly slipped out of bed. Today wasn’t just any day—it was your birthday, and she had been planning a surprise for weeks. She tiptoed around the room, making sure not to wake you as she grabbed the final pieces of the surprise she had hidden away.

Sabrina spent the next hour setting everything up downstairs, from balloons and streamers to a table full of your favorite breakfast foods. She had even baked a cake the night before, and though it wasn’t perfect, the thought and effort behind it made it all the more special.

Once everything was in place, Sabrina grabbed a small bouquet of flowers and snuck back upstairs, a soft smile playing on her lips as she saw you still curled up under the blankets. She knelt by the side of the bed and gently brushed her fingers across your cheek, whispering, “Hey, birthday girl... time to wake up.”

You stirred, blinking your eyes open to see Sabrina smiling down at you, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Good morning,” she said softly, holding out the bouquet of flowers. “Happy birthday, babe.”

You smiled, still a little groggy, but the sight of her and the flowers immediately warmed your heart. “Sabrina... you didn’t have to—”

She cut you off, shaking her head with a playful grin. “Oh, trust me, this is just the beginning.”

Before you could respond, she took your hand and pulled you out of bed. “Come on, get up! I’ve got a little surprise for you downstairs.”

Curiosity piqued, you let her lead you down the stairs, still holding the flowers in your hand. As you reached the bottom, you gasped at the sight in front of you. The living room was decked out in decorations—balloons in your favorite colors, a banner that said “Happy Birthday,” and a table set up with breakfast, complete with pancakes, fruit, and a cake with your name on it.

Your eyes widened in disbelief. “Sabrina... you did all of this?”

She nodded, her face lighting up as she saw your reaction. “Yup! Took me a bit to set it all up, but it was totally worth it.” She paused, a little smirk on her face. “Oh, and by the way... I made that cake myself. So if it tastes a little weird... don’t say anything.”

You laughed, your heart swelling with love as you took in everything she had done for you. “It’s perfect. You’re perfect.”

Sabrina smiled, pulling you into a tight hug. “I just wanted to make your day special. You deserve the best.”

You pulled back slightly to look at her, your eyes filled with gratitude and love. “It’s already special, just because you’re here.”

She kissed your forehead softly. “Well, there’s more where that came from. But for now, let’s eat. I’m starving.”

You both sat down at the table, the warmth of the morning sun streaming through the windows as you enjoyed the breakfast Sabrina had prepared. Throughout the meal, she kept sneaking little glances at you, clearly proud of how happy you looked.

When breakfast was over, Sabrina lit the candles on your cake and started singing “Happy Birthday” with her usual playful energy. As you blew out the candles, you couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with happiness. She had truly made this birthday unforgettable.

Sabrina wrapped her arms around you from behind as you sat at the table, resting her chin on your shoulder. “So, did I do good?” she asked, her voice soft in your ear.

You leaned back into her embrace, smiling. “You did amazing.”

She kissed the side of your head, holding you a little tighter. “Good. Because I love you, and I wanted to make sure you know how much you mean to me.”

You turned your head to look at her, your heart full. “I love you too, Sabrina. This is the best birthday I’ve ever had.”
