It was a sunny afternoon, and Sabrina had convinced you to spend the day shopping, something she absolutely loved. You weren’t as big into shopping, but seeing how excited she got every time she saw a new store was enough to make the day worth it.
As you walked into another boutique, Sabrina’s eyes immediately lit up. “Oh my god, babe, look at this!” she exclaimed, rushing over to a rack of clothes. She held up a cute oversized sweater, smiling from ear to ear. “How cute is this?”
You laughed, watching as she twirled around, holding the sweater up to herself. “It’s adorable, baby”
She shot you a playful look. “Adorable? Come on, this is fire” She glanced at the mirror, checking herself out. “Should I try it on?”
You nodded, already knowing the answer before she even asked. “Obviously.”
Sabrina grinned, running off to the fitting room. You waited near the entrance, browsing through some of the other clothes. A few minutes later, she stepped out, wearing the sweater and striking a pose. “Okay, what do we think?” she asked, doing a little twirl. “Is it giving cute and cozy or should I keep looking?”
You smiled at her. “You look perfect. You should definitely get it.”
She beamed, clearly satisfied with your answer. “Right? I’m obsessed. I’m totally getting it.” Sabrina paused, looking at you with a mischievous glint in her eye. “You know, you should try something on too. I saw this jacket earlier, and I think it’d look amazing on you.”
You shook your head with a smile. “You’re the shopper here, not me.”
“Yeah, but it’s more fun if we do it together,” she said, grabbing your hand and pulling you over to the rack. She picked up a jacket and held it up against you. “Come on, try it for me? Just one thing.”
With that look in her eyes, you knew there was no saying no. “Fine, fine,” you agreed, taking the jacket and heading to the fitting room.
When you stepped out in the jacket, Sabrina’s face lit up. “Okay, wow,” she said, her voice full of admiration. “I knew you’d look amazing in it! See, I have great taste.”
You couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, alright. I’ll admit it. You were right.”
Sabrina smirked, stepping closer to you. “Told you. I know what looks good on my girl.”
You raised an eyebrow, amused by her confidence. “You just want me to buy something too.”
She giggled. “Maybe. But seriously, you look so good.”
You smiled, appreciating the way she always managed to make you feel special. “Alright, I’ll get it. But no more convincing me to try things on.”
Sabrina laughed, leaning in to kiss your cheek. “Deal. But I can’t promise I won’t drag you into every store we pass. You know how much I love this.”
“I know,” you said, smiling as you wrapped an arm around her. “And I don’t mind, as long as I’m with you.”
She leaned into you, resting her head on your shoulder as you both headed to the checkout. “You’re the best, you know that?” she said, her voice soft now, her earlier excitement still bubbling beneath the surface. “Thanks for spending the day with me like this.”
You kissed the top of her head. “Anytime, babe.”
And with that, you continued your shopping adventure together, with Sabrina’s joy making every store visit a little more fun and a lot more special.
