Maria Pov

"Jody we have to help her, they might kill her."

"Better she than you."

"Still...."

"Ria, it's late let's go to sleep. I'm excited for you to drive us to Kingston tomorrow in your new car."

"Why I have to drive us there?"

"You can believe Skull brought a female here knowing I was here?"

"Your with this again?"

"Yes"

"Just talk to him about it then if it bothers you that he sees other people."

"It's whatever, I'm going to bed, goodnight."

I look over at her and she is fast asleep making soft snoring sounds. This girl can sleep.

Im happy for the opportunity because I gently climb off the bed and peak outside towards the living area. All the lights are off and it seems quite. I'm not sure what has happened to Ashley but as of now she is not in the living room. I close the door and climb back on my bed.

I just hope they haven't killed that girl.

My mind race back to my conversation with Kahjeel before he left and I can't help but to wonder what changed on that trip.

I don't think I have said anything bad or wrong.

Yes I'm attracted to him and I feel safe with him but I don't want to get hurt in the long run because he does not do relationships if he did he wouldn't be dating Ashley and Diamond at the same time.

My phone starts ringing and I panick seeing it's Kahjeel's mother calling. I answer quickly.

"Hello Mrs Lewis."

"Maria, for the hundredth time call me Britney."

"Sorry, I keep forgetting. How are you."

"Could be doing better. I need a favour from you."

"Sure"

"Can you please tell Kahjeel that he needs to return my calls it's urgent." She says sounding stressed.

"I will."

"Thank you darling."

She disconnect the call and I dial Kahjeel's number. It ring without an answer, I try again and it's the same thing.

Britney has never sounded so stressed before and I have spoken to her a few times even if it was just a simple hello. This means she really needs to talk to him.

I get out of the bed again and pull on a shorts, crop top and a slipper. I quietly open the room door, thankfull no one is in the living room so I head outside in the yard and start my car.

If I wasn't in a rush then I would be enjoying the car even more. For months I have been admiring Kahjeel's own so I guess he noticed.

I open the gate using the remote and head in the direction to Norwood. I'm not sure if he is there but it's a chance I'm willing to take.

The only problem is I have never been there before. I'm just going to have to follow my GPS to get there.

After several turns I pull up in the community and all the shops at the entrance is closed and every light in the houses are off. If I didn't see the welcome sign I would think I am lost. The community seems darker and colder until I see a group of men walk out in the middle of the road with long guns.

My heart is at my mouth but Kahjeel's father is the Don so I'm sure if I tell them that and show them his picture I'll survive.

There is a tap on my window and I hesitantly roll it down to see a dark guy no older than I am with tattoos all over his face.
