After breakfast, Hoseok found himself wandering the city again, his mind still buzzing with thoughts from the night before. Namjoon had shared so much, and the safety of the city, despite Suga's ruthless methods, had made him think that maybe he could actually find a place here. With that in mind, he decided to follow through on the idea of working on the farm. He had always enjoyed physical labor, and the peace of working with animals and plants seemed like something that might help him settle down.
He sought out Suga near one of the buildings, catching the man between his tasks. Hoseok approached cautiously, clearing his throat before speaking. "Uh, Suga… I was thinking about what you said yesterday. About the farm. Do you think I could start working there?"
Suga raised an eyebrow, studying him for a moment before nodding. “Yeah sure. Follow me.” He led Hoseok across the city, back toward the farm they had visited before. "You'll be working under a guy named Taehyung. He’s about your age, knows the place well." Suga stopped by the edge of the farm, turning to point out a man near the pens. "There he is. Taehyung."
Hoseok glanced in the direction Suga had pointed and spotted a lanky man moving quickly between the animals, talking to himself in what seemed like an animated conversation. Taehyung was gesturing wildly as he tossed hay into the troughs, occasionally spinning around or stopping to stare off into the distance. Hoseok couldn’t help but notice the odd energy radiating from him.
"Good luck," Suga added flatly before walking away, leaving Hoseok standing there, unsure of what to expect.
Taking a deep breath, Hoseok approached Taehyung, who seemed to be in his own world. "Hey, uh, Taehyung?" he called out cautiously.
Taehyung snapped his head around, his eyes wide with curiosity. “Oh! You must be the new guy! Hoseok, right? Suga told me you'd be coming by! Welcome!” He immediately grabbed Hoseok’s hand and shook it enthusiastically, all while smiling widely. “So, this is the farm! We’ve got cows, chickens, goats, and all sorts of vegetables." he startet rambling. "Have you ever worked on a farm? Because let me tell you, it’s not like those documentaries you see! No...not at all! It’s all about the rhythm, you know? Like music. Or dancing. Or breathing. Or… well, it’s hard to explain! But I can show you." he started walking leading the way.
"Oh, and the goats? Yeah, don’t trust them.
They’re spies.I’m kidding,
but… am I?”
Hoseok blinked, trying to follow the rapid stream of words, but before he could respond, Taehyung was off again, moving in a chaotic yet oddly graceful way as he demonstrated how to feed the animals. He jumped from one task to another with ease, but his explanations were all over the place. One second, he was explaining the proper way to water the plants, and the next, he was telling Hoseok a long, unrelated story about how he once saw a cow who looked like an old man he used to know.
Despite the whirlwind of information, Hoseok found himself smiling. Taehyung was undeniably... different, but there was something charming about his energy. He didn’t seem dangerous—just… different. And after everything Hoseok had been through, a little bit of weirdness didn’t bother him.
"Alright, so you just, uh, toss the hay like this?" Hoseok asked, trying to mimic Taehyung's frantic movements as he threw hay into the feeding trough.
"Exactly! Just like that, but with more flair! Think of it like—like painting a masterpiece, or composing a song! You’ve gotta feel it, Hoseok! Feel it deep inside!" Taehyung exclaimed, twirling dramatically as he gestured toward the animals.
Hoseok chuckled to himself and decided to just go with it. He matched Taehyung’s chaotic energy as best he could, feeding the animals and trying to keep up with the man’s wild explanations. It was oddly refreshing, in a way. After the tension and fear of the last few days, this strange farmwork with an even stranger man felt like a welcome break.
As the day went on, Hoseok realized that despite the madness, Taehyung knew what he was doing. The farm ran smoothly, and the animals were well cared for. Maybe there was more method to the madness than he’d first thought. Either way, Hoseok found himself relaxing into the work, letting Taehyung’s chaotic energy pull him along.
It wasn’t the peace and quiet he’d expected, but maybe it was what he needed.

So...what do you think about Taetae's character?
I really wanted to assign each BTS member a distinctive energy. It's not supposed to reflect their personality in real life, rather showcase how each person in this story seems to have a different approach to dealing with a broken world, stress, anxiety, death and sorrow.
