It's been a month. A month since Barry went missing, a month since Tommy got out. Dalton thought me how to fight and so has Barry. He thought my brother how to shoot and how to throw knifes. After a while, Dane started getting good again. I say again, because he used to be very good at throwing knifes and darts. I'm not sure why he used to throw knifes, but I never questioned it.
Dalton pulled a gun out of his duffel back and loaded it before he handed it to Dane. Dane put it his waistband and Dalton handed him a few small knifes.
"I really hope we don't have to use any of this, but there's a very high chance that we will"
He handed me a gun and a knife, then the same to Tommy and himself. He threw the duffel bag in his car, closed the door and locked it.
"Remember. Our goal is just to get Barry back. Not to kill everyone. That comes later"
He turned around and started walking towards the house.
"Wait!", I ran up to him and grabbed his arm."How do we know he's even in there?"
"Because they told me", Tommy said. He nodded at me and put his mask on.
"Wait, I thought Barry took yours?"
"Do you really think they would only give me one?", He rolled his eyes."And this one is Andy's. Not mine"
"Your brother..", I mumbled as he walked ahead of us.
"Is a cocky little dick head. Yeah, I know", He held my hand and Dane walked ahead of us and a little bit behind Tommy.
"I'm scared", I said. He turned to me and kissed my cheek.
"Think of that instead", He said and pulled me towards the house. I put my hand over my cheek and shook my head. He pulled me behind a bush and took his knife out.
"Wait", he whispered and put his hand up. We watched Tommy as he hit someone until he dropped. He motioned us over to him and we ran across the lawn to the house. The only good part about any of this was that the house was in the middle of nowhere, and the only civilization for miles was a small tea shop that we met the old couple at a few weeks ago and bought them some tea as a thank you to them.
"You two go upstairs. Trevor is in the last room on the left. Dane and I will cover down here. You two go upstairs", Tommy said. Dalton nodded and we walked upstairs.
"Hey!", Someone shouted at the end of the hallway. Dalton took the knife out of his pocket and threw it at the man. I stuck in his chest, making me gag. But I honestly didn't care how badly any of them get hurt.
"Get back", Dalton said, pushing me behind a wall. He put his back against it and cocked his gun.
"Wait you said-"
"I have to be prepared, Rain", He cut me off. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
He turned to me and held my face."He's been here for a month", He whispered."I am very willing to kill people in order to get him out. I owe him that much"
"What do you mean?"
"You know about Rosie", He shook his head."I can never say how sorry I am for that. I don't think anything will ever be enough"
I held his wrists and nodded."One day it will be enough"
He nodded."God, I hope so", He let go and turned back into the hallway. I followed him and saw three men running towards us.
"Ready?", He asked.
I shook my head, but I knew that there was not going back. The first one ran up to Dalton, and he hit the man with the barrel of his gun so hard that his mask flew off. It was Eric again. One of the men ran to me and laughed.
