The soft hum of the hospital cafeteria filled the air as you sat across from Hoseok and IU during your break. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting a pale glow on the simple lunch spread before you. You poked at your food absentmindedly, your mind heavy with the weight of the conversation you were about to have.

Hoseok and IU exchanged curious glances before Hoseok finally broke the silence. "Alright, Y/N, spill. What exactly happened with Jin and Namjoon?"

You sighed, resting your chin on your palm as you looked between them. "It's... complicated."

"Well, that much we already knew," IU teased gently, trying to ease the tension. "But seriously, what happened? You seem really torn up about it."

Taking a deep breath, you recounted the events of the past few days—how everything had come to a head between you, Jin, and Namjoon. You explained the awkward confrontation, the emotional tension, and finally, the arrangement the three of you had agreed on. You watched their faces closely as you described how both Jin and Namjoon would fight for your heart over the course of a month, each getting dedicated time with you.

By the time you finished, both of your friends were staring at you, wide-eyed and speechless.

Hoseok was the first to react, a mix of disbelief and concern flashing across his face. "Wait, hold on. You're telling me that Jin and Namjoon—two grown men—agreed to some kind of... love competition? Like, they're both just going to fight for you for a month, and at the end, you pick one of them?"

You nodded, biting your lip. "Pretty much, yeah."

Hoseok ran a hand through his hair, letting out a low whistle. "Wow, okay. I mean, I get that you're trying to figure things out, but doesn't this seem... dangerous? What if they get hurt? Or worse, what if you do? I'm Team Jin all the way, but this could end badly for everyone."

IU's eyes softened with understanding, but there was an edge of skepticism in her voice. "I get why you feel like you need this time, Y/N, but Hoseok's right. Emotions are already running high. A whole month of this? What if it turns into something toxic? Plus, with Namjoon's feelings involved, are you sure it won't just end up hurting everyone even more?"

You exhaled deeply, your chest tightening at their concerns. "I know. Trust me, I've thought about all of that. But it's the only way I can figure out where my heart really is. I can't just ignore Namjoon's feelings... or mine."

Hoseok leaned forward, his brows furrowed in concern. "But what about Jin? He's waited for you all this time. It's not just about Namjoon, Y/N. You've got a good thing with Jin, and you're risking all of that."

You shook your head, trying to explain. "It's not like that, Hobi. I care about Jin—so much. But Namjoon... we have history, and it's hard to ignore that. I just need to figure things out, without jumping into a decision I might regret."
