You stared at Jin as he sat on the couch across from you, the weight of Yeji's words pressing on your chest. The silence between you both stretched, neither willing to break it. His eyes searched yours, waiting for you to say something, to give him a clue about what was going on in your head. But all you could think about was the one thing you hadn't confronted him about. Jimin. His ex. And the lies.
You took a deep breath, the tension gnawing at you. "Jin, we need to talk."
Jin looked up from his phone, his brow furrowed. "What's wrong? You've been quiet since we came back from the date."
You swallowed hard, gathering your thoughts. "Yeji told me something, and I haven't been able to shake it off."
He placed his phone down, the unease in his eyes growing. "What did she tell you?"
"She said... she said you stole Jimin's ex. Is that true?"
The question hung heavy in the air, and for a moment, you swore you saw the panic flash across his face. He looked down, his lips pressing into a thin line.
"It's not that simple," he finally muttered, his voice low.
Your chest tightened. "Then make it simple, Jin. Tell me what really happened."
He ran a hand through his hair, clearly struggling with how to explain. "I didn't... I didn't steal her. We had a connection, and yeah, things got messy, but Jimin wasn't treating her right. She came to me, Y/N. I didn't force anything."
You shook your head, the doubt still swirling inside you. "But you didn't tell me any of this. You let me think everything between you and Jimin just ended, that there was no betrayal."
"I was trying to protect you!" Jin snapped, his frustration bleeding through. "You don't know how complicated things were back then. Jimin was spiraling, and we weren't friends anymore, but it wasn't because I 'stole' someone from him."
Your heart pounded as you took in his words, but something still didn't sit right. "Then why didn't you tell me before? If there was nothing to hide, why keep it a secret?"
Jin's eyes softened, guilt clouding his expression. "I didn't want you to think less of me. And I didn't want to bring all that baggage into our relationship."
You sighed, feeling a mix of emotions. You wanted to believe him, but there was still a nagging feeling that he wasn't telling you the whole story. "Jin, I don't know if I can just ignore this."
He reached for your hand, but you pulled away. "Y/N, please. I care about you, and I don't want to lose you over something that happened years ago."
You stood up, your heart heavy. "I need time to think."
Without waiting for his response, you grabbed your coat and walked out of the door, your mind spinning. The cold night air hit your skin, but it did little to cool the storm inside you.

Namjoon was sitting in his living room when he heard the knock at the door. He opened it to find you standing there, your eyes red as if you had been crying.
"Y/N?" he said, surprised.
You looked up at him, and without thinking, you stepped forward, wrapping your arms around him. Namjoon froze for a moment, unsure of what to do, but then he slowly returned the embrace, holding you close.
"I don't know what to do," you whispered into his chest. "I don't know who to trust anymore."
Namjoon's heart ached as he rested his chin on top of your head. "I'm sorry. I hate that this is happening to you. But you're not alone, Y/N."
You pulled back slightly, looking up into his eyes. For the first time in a while, you felt a sense of calm. Maybe it was the familiarity of being with him, or maybe it was just that he had always been a source of comfort for you. Either way, your heart fluttered, and you found yourself leaning in, your lips brushing against his.
Namjoon froze, his eyes wide in surprise, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he gently cupped your face, deepening the kiss. It was soft and tender, a moment you both had been yearning for.
When you finally pulled away, your cheeks flushed with confusion. "I—I shouldn't have done that."
Namjoon shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Maybe... but I don't regret it."

Jimin watched from across the street as Y/N left Namjoon's apartment, her expression filled with conflict. His jaw clenched, but the smirk on his lips didn't fade. Everything was unfolding exactly as he planned.
He had already made his first move—sowing the seeds of doubt in Y/N's mind about Jin. Now, it was only a matter of time before everything crumbled.
His phone buzzed. It was Jessi.
Are you ready? We need to make the next move.
Jimin typed back quickly.
I'm more than ready. Let's finish this.

Yeji was heading back to her car after a late shift when she spotted Jessi and Lisa huddled together outside the office, their voices low but sharp. She wasn't planning to eavesdrop, but when she heard Jimin's name, she froze.
"You seriously think this is going to work?" Lisa asked, crossing her arms. "What if Y/N finds out we're behind all of this?"
"She won't," Jessi hissed. "Not until it's too late. Jimin's already got her questioning Jin. All we have to do is keep pushing until she breaks. Once she's done with Jin, Namjoon will be easy to manipulate."
Yeji's blood ran cold as she realized what they were planning. This wasn't just about some petty rivalry—this was full-on sabotage. And Y/N was right in the middle of it.
"I can't believe you convinced Jimin to go along with this," Lisa said, her voice filled with disbelief.
Jessi laughed softly. "Jimin's got his own reasons for wanting revenge on Jin. He doesn't care about Y/N—he just wants to hurt Jin."
Yeji's heart pounded in her chest as she ducked behind the nearest wall, trying to calm her breathing. She needed to tell someone—anyone—about this. Y/N was in danger, and she couldn't just stand by and let it happen.
Pulling out her phone, she quickly dialed Yoongi's number.
"Yoongi?" she whispered into the phone when he answered. "I need to talk to you. It's about Jimin... and Y/N."

Yoongi sat in his car, gripping the steering wheel tightly as he listened to Yeji explain everything she overheard. His jaw clenched, anger rising in him with every word she said.
"That's low, even for Jessi," Yoongi muttered. "I knew something was up with Jimin, but I didn't think he'd go this far."
"You have to warn Y/N," Yeji urged. "She's in the middle of this, and I don't think she even realizes it."
"I will," Yoongi promised. "But this changes everything."
He hung up the phone, his mind racing. Jimin was playing a dangerous game, and if they didn't act fast, Y/N would be the one paying the price. Yoongi wasn't about to let that happen—not to her, not to Jin, and not to Namjoon.
This wasn't just about a love triangle anymore. This was war.
