Taylor Swift's Point of View
I start to walk down the aisle as the gentle music plays, each step echoing with a mix of excitement and nerves. The world around me fades, and all I can see is Travis standing at the altar, his face lighting up with a radiant smile that makes my heart soar.As I glance to the side, I spot ViVi, who's almost tripping over herself as she drops the rose petals on the floor. She giggles, her little hands fumbling with the petals, and I can't help but smile at her adorable clumsiness.
I finally approach the altar, my steps slow and deliberate, the soft rustle of my dress the only sound I hear besides the beating of my heart. As I come to a stop, standing in front of Travis, everything else melts away. His eyes are full of warmth, and I can't help but smile as he reaches up to gently lift the veil from my face.
For a moment, we simply stare at each other, his hands slipping into mine, warm and steady. His touch sends a calming wave through me, and the world seems to stand still. It's just us—no nerves, no distractions—only the certainty that this is exactly where we're meant to be.
"You're beautiful," he whispers, his voice barely audible over the sound of my heart racing.
The minister begins the ceremony, his words a soft hum in the background, but all I can focus on is this moment, standing here with Travis. I glance at him, and he's already looking at me, his eyes full of love and something deeper—a promise. Everything else blurs as I realize I'm about to marry the love of my life.
Time seems to slow, each second heavy with the meaning of what's happening. The nervous energy I had moments ago is replaced by a profound sense of peace, knowing that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be. I squeeze Travis's hand, my mind drifting away from the minister's words, lost in the certainty that this is the beginning of forever.
"Now we are moving onto the vows. Taylor, would you like to start?" the minister asks, his voice breaking through my thoughts. I nod, glancing over at Abigail, who hands me a crumpled piece of paper. Typical me. I've never been one to write things neatly or in the proper places. Hell, half of my hit songs were scribbled down on napkins or the back of receipts.
I glance up at Travis, his eyes locked on mine, soft and full of love. For a second, the world around us fades, and it's just him and me standing here, ready to begin the next chapter of our lives. I take a deep breath and begin.
"Travis, when I first met you, I never imagined we'd end up here. We've done everything out of order. First came the kids, then the chaos, and somehow—through all of that—we found something so real, so true. You walked into my life when I thought I was done with love, when I thought my heart had been through enough. But you... you made me believe in love again, not because it was perfect, but because it was imperfect in all the right ways."
I pause for a moment, feeling the emotion catch in my throat. "You've seen me at my best and at my worst, and through it all, you've loved me in ways I didn't know were possible. You've shown me patience when I didn't have any for myself, strength when I felt weak, and laughter when life felt heavy. You've made me a better person, not by changing who I am, but by loving me for exactly who I am."
I glance down at the paper, but the words on it seem so small compared to the way I feel. "I promise to stand by your side through the highs and the lows, to laugh with you when life is sweet and to hold you when things get tough. I promise to always be your biggest fan, whether you're winning on the field or just being the amazing father you are at home. I promise to support you in your dreams and to share in the journey of whatever comes next for us."
Tears fill my eyes as I look back at him, his expression soft and unwavering. "I vow to love you fiercely, to never stop growing with you, and to create a life together that's full of adventure, joy, and a whole lot of love. Travis, you are my best friend, my everything. And today, I can't wait to become your wife."
