I stormed down the bright hallway, My footsteps reverberated against the frigid, repetitive walls. I lurked down them trying to find the Professor, but I could feel a familiar presence creeping up behind me. He just couldn't quit, couldn't he?

Without turning around, I sighed, "What might I have to do to get rid of you?"

Turning fully, I saw Logan standing there, beginning to walk towards me, his movements slow and deliberate. "I'm not giving up on you," he said, his voice steady but filled with determination.

"I spared your life," I said coldly. "But it seems that approach isn't working." I said, my voice starting to tremble. I lifted my hand, and he began to choke, gasping for air.

The Professor came through the doors and noticed immediately, rushing toward me. "Stop it Lalia!" he yelled, desperation creeping into his voice.

I turned my head to the Professor, my eyes blazing with fury. "Bring me his body," I demanded, letting go of my hold on Logan, letting him fall against the wall.

The Professor's face softened, and he tried to reason with me. "Lalia, you are justifiably angry. You had to make a terrible decision to save us."

I cut him off sharply, my voice dripping with bitterness. "And right after, I felt my brother die, so it meant nothing. Do not speak to me of sacrifice, Charles."

I began to walk toward him slowly, each step deliberate and menacing. "You break the rules and become a hero. I do it, and I become the enemy. That doesn't seem fair," I said, my voice dripping with bitterness.

He wheeled back, trying to maintain his composure. "You have no idea... just how reasonable I've been," I continued, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.

Charles looked at me with a mixture of sorrow and resolve. "Reasonable? You've slaughtered hundreds of mutants."

"Killing them instead of you all was mercy," I retorted coldly. "And in spite of your stubbornness, I have begged you to bring me his body and get out of my way."

My eyes began to glow a menacing red as I lifted the Professor into the air with my magic. "You have exhausted my patience," I whispered, my voice filled with menace as my lips began to twitch. "But I do hope you understand that even now, what's about to happen, this is me being... reasonable."

With a swift motion, I blasted him with my power, sending him crashing to the ground, he stopped moving completely. The room seemed to tremble with the force of my anger, and for a moment, everything was still.

Suddenly, Logan ran up to me, desperation etched on his face. But I was beyond reason, beyond mercy. The power surged within me. I then moved my hand toward Logan, burning his skin as he approached me. He grunted in pain, but didn't stop his approach.
