Chapter 3. Confusion

Confusion.
"So what is it Phi that you wanted to talk"? Gulf asked the elder who was sighing and playing with napkins on the table trying to form a single sentence that could clear all suspicions and doesnt offend the younger.

"Actually.. I... I want to ask something. But am not sure if its too personal to ask". Tae stated in a confused tone. Looking at Gulf he felt Gulf wanted him to continue.

"See. We bearly know each other. Apart from little hello hi we havent talked anything. But there is a certain urge that i want to meet you again and again and talk to you.

Even if you seem friendly i dont know how to explain.". Gulf was confused too but he was still waiting for him to continue. And he was free anyway.

"How about we start from start"? Tae suggested and Gulf raised his eyebrow.

"Okay Phi".

"Well. Hello. Am Tae Darvid. A PHD in ROBOTOICS. And i have a little garage that i manage with my friends as the production unit. So far am good in earning and managing my financial life.

I have two brothers. Mew and Zee. Well Zee is like a kid to both of us but he is more close to Mew. As he spends most of the time with him. And they are engineer too. Mew is now working on his PHD related to some surgical instruments and automobiles. And Zee. He is doing his bachelor's degree.

So far we all are single. No committments. Thats all about me".

Tae stated and sipped his juice as Gulf was looking at him with calculated expressions.

"Nothing much about me Phi. Am the only kid to my parents. Medical is my passion and i love kids. So i choose to become a Child Specialist.

Phi'Jess is the only person am close to. And as i told you i admire him. But these days he is getting busy. With his hospital and his husband to be". Gulf was casually telling him. But Tae choked on his drink.

"Hus..husband"? He repeated and Gulf frowned.

"Why Phi? Sounds weird"? He was utterly offended though Tae didnt mean it.

"Oh no no. No am sorry Nong". He quickly held his hand assuring him that he doesnt mean to offend him.

"Your Phi'Jess is married". He quesitoned again and this time Gulf didnt miss the joy sparkling in his eyes.

"Uhmm. Yes Phi. What does it has to do with us talking"? He couldnt grip on where it is going.

"It means, you are not with Jess"? Another question with beaming eyes and Gulf flustered.

"What. Oh. Oh no Phi. He is my Phi. As in brother. But..".

"Oh my God Gulffff. Thank youuuuu". Tae couldnt hols his excitement anymore.

He pulled Gulf into a bone crushing hug shaking him like a kid.

"Phii.. I cant breathe". Gulf managed to speak a word when he felt breathless. Not to mention the hug was mind blowing but he still needed answers.

"Am sorry. Am so happy". Tae was giggling like a little girl.

"I know you are confused. Okay. Lets start. That day when i saw you in the hospital. I was quite attracted to you. Like i said i have never been into anyone, so i didnt know how to ask you. I wanted to befriend with you, and i was planning to ask you but the way you were telling me about Jess, it made me uncomfortable in ways i cant explain.

I thought may be you are together. So i was trying to hold on any feeling i had in my heart for you. And to avoid you.

That day in the cafe. It was same. I heard you talking to Jess. And the fond in your voice couldnt be ignored. So once again i thought....
