Chapter 22. Dada

Dada

"Dadaaa". Jagger instantly squealed as soon as the call connected. Zee had connected his phone to the projector so that Jagg and Mills can communicate easily. They both were excited and mesmerized as Mew appeared on the big screen.

"Hey Jaggie. Hey Mills". He smiled. "Hows my boy"? He looked at Jagg.

"Am good Dada. I didnt cry. Daddy took us to the playland and we had ice cream too. I had so much fun with Mills. And then we had a good sleep". Jagg told him about his day holding Mills' hand..

"Thats my buddy. My strong buddy. I will be back tomorrow to pick you from school okay"? He assured and he could see Jagg happy.

"How about you have your dinner and go to sleep now. Daddy will give you a bath and will tell you a story so that you will sleep quick and then we can meet tomorrow. Yeah"? He said and Jagg nodded excitedly with Mills. They both ran to Zee to put them to sleep. Tae was smiling at Mew's tricks. He knew it would have been so much of a problem if Mew didnt handle it. 

"Dada". Jagg turned to him before going in his room. 

"Yes Buddy". Mew was about to talk to everyone about the project but he turned to Jagg.

"I miss you Dada. Dont leave me ever". A single tear slipped down his cheeks as he rushed inside the room held by Mills. 

"I miss you too Jagg". Mew whispered. He ended the call saying goodbye to all. He didnt want to talk about anything. Gulf smiled disconnecting the call. He knew Mew wont be able to sleep too.

"Mew cant live without Jagger". Thanitt said after a minute of silence engulfing Tee in his arms. 

"I can relate. Even i cant live without Mills. Not even for a second". Tee relayed. 

Zee joined them back after a while. Putting kids to sleep. 

"Jagg is missing Phi alot. Its good he has Mills with him to distract, but i guess this video call was a bad idea. He was murmuring Dada Dada going to sleep. And he didnt let me pull them both on my chest as Phi does. Rather he hug Mills sideways and didnt wait for me to finish the story". He was sad.

"Dont worry Zee. Mew will be back tomorrow. Just keep a tab on kids okay"? Tae instructed before they all head to dinner.

Jagg ran excitedly as the familiar black CRV parked at the school gate. He was welcomed by the open arms of his Dada.

"Hey buddy". Mew showered his face with butterfly kisses pulling a giggling mess to his chest. Even the other students, their parents and teachers were laughing too. 

"I missed you Dada". 

"I missed you too buddy. Lets go". He took Jagg to the car, settling him on his car seat. 

"Dada i want ice cream. And toys. And i want to go to joyland". He was listing his demands and Mew was smiling fondly.

"Jagg. Baby. How about we pack ice cream and go to home. Mills would be waiting for you and then i will bring you both to joyland"? Mew mentioned and he didnt miss the joy in Jagg's eyes at Mills. 

"You like Mills huh"? He asked raising his eye brows and he shrugged cutely. 

"Come on Buddy. You can tell your Dada". He provoked him. 

"Dada. Dont be jealous. I will tell you but i have to ask Mills first". He replied looking in the rearview mirror. 

"Ohh. You are so slow. I gave you a day and a night to ask him. Tsk Jagg". Mew clucked his tongue as in disappointment.
