"My name's Mingyu by the way." Mingyu informed the man in front of him who simply rolled his eyes before walking away.
"Don't worry! I'll make you mine!" Mingyu shouted before remembering he was in public. He quickly covered his face and rushed out...
Had Mingyu really woken up at 5:30 just to say good morning to Wonwoo at 6am? Yes. Yes he had. Since Minghao generously gave Mingyu Wonwoo's number, the boy had been pacing about wondering what to send first.
And he'd finally done it. He looked at the screen for a while before seeing 'Read 6:01'. He stood up to do a little victory dance. He'd read his message right on time!
Mingyu couldn't wait to see the beauty again. But then he wondered... would he ever actually see him again?
Not only were they in 2 different years, they also had different majors which Mingyu found out yesterday, and different class schedules. What if they would never be available at the same time? How would Mingyu successfully woo Wonwoo?
Unlike Minghao who was dating Jun which meant the two could make plans easily and visit each other's dorms, Mingyu and Wonwoo were still friends in the making. Him showing up at Wonwoo's dorm would be way too risky of a move to take.
Mingyu went into the living room where Seokmin had fallen asleep on the couch yesterday after drinking way too much. Minghao stayed over at Jun's-
Wait! Minghao stayed over at Jun's! It was the perfect excuse for Mingyu to go over to Wonwoo's dorm.
He shook Seokmin's leg in an attempt to wake the boy up. "No... no mum I don't want dinosaur nuggets." Seokmin said in his sleep making Mingyu laugh.
He gave up on waking the boy up and decided to get ready. He was going to pick up Minghao for no reason whatsoever other than the chance to see Wonwoo.
Mingyu whistled happily as he prepared his breakfast. He was going to see Wonwoo again! He finished making his breakfast and ate it slowly to make time pass which was quite a challenge since he loved to eat quickly.
"Food!" Seokmin's voice startled Mingyu and he turned to see the boy who was asleep a second ago now staring at his toast.
"I put a slice in the toaster for you." Mingyu told the boy who smiled weakly, still asleep before standing up and moving to the kitchen part of the living room.
"Do you have class?" Seokmin asked taking the toast out of the toaster. "Not today... do you?" Mingyu returned the question.
"Just one by 2." He replied. "You'll be completely sobered up them." Mingyu pointed out and Seokmin nodded. "Thankfully." He took a bite of the toast without adding any butter or jam or even avocado.
Mingyu shook his head in disgust at the food crime his best friend had just committed. His eyes darted to the wall clock. Suddenly it was 8:30, had he really eaten that slow?
He stood up ready to go to Wonwoo's dormitory which was on the other side of campus. "Where are you off to?" Seokmin asked, chewing on the dry toast.
"You know the love of my life I told you about? He's Jun hyung's roommate, Wonwoo hyung!" Mingyu couldn't hide his excitement as he told Seokmin who also couldn't hide his excitement at Mingyu finding his mystery man.
"So I'm going to his dorm... to pick up Minghao." Mingyu informed Seokmin who smirked before nodding. "Definitely just picking up Minghao." He chuckled.
"I'm rooting for you two by the way!" Seokmin supported Mingyu who gave him a warm smile. "Thanks, hopefully I don't fuck this up."
"You're Mingyu, you mess everything up." Seokmin corrected the boy. Mingyu rolled his eyes, "That's not very supportive."
"But you fix it all in the end!" Seokmin clarified just as Mingyu closed the dorm door. He laughed a bit at his best friend's horrible humour before walking down the hall.

Wonwoo looked at the time. 8:30. He needed to start getting ready. He got up from bed and slightly opened the door. Jun and Minghao were cuddling on the couch.
He tiptoed out of his room to the bathroom, not wanting to disturb them. It wasn't their fault he was so single.
Wonwoo took his time getting ready, as he always did. He didn't understand how people spent only 5 minutes showering.
He got out of the bathroom about 30 minutes later and got dressed in his usual colour scheme, black on black on black. He'd stopped wearing bright colours and clothes that exposed any part of his body a long time ago.
As Wonwoo got out of his room, ready to make breakfast, someone knocked on their door. Jun and Minghao also noticed turning to the door.
"I'll get it." Wonwoo said walking towards it. He unlocked the door and pulled it open and in front of him was Mingyu... again.
Was it weird that he had now opened the door for Mingyu twice without knowing?
The usual smile Mingyu had whenever he looked at Wonwoo appeared again. "Hi." He waved and Wonwoo replied with a small, "Hi."
"Gyu? What are you doing here?" Minghao asked from the couch. "I'm here to... uh... pick you up!" He answered and Wonwoo tilted his head in confusion, he'd never seen Mingyu pick Minghao up before.
"You've never picked me-" Jun closed Minghao's mouth before he could finish his sentence. "Change of heart I guess, but it looks like you don't need my help after all." Mingyu said before turning to Wonwoo.
"Do you have class right now?" He asked. Wonwoo checked the time on his watch. 9:03.
"Umm, in about two hours." Wonwoo replied. The smile on Mingyu's face increased and Wonwoo felt a little pang in his heart, why was his smile so... cute?
"Then follow me." Mingyu's hands wrapped around Wonwoo's tiny wrist and he gently dragged the boy out of the dorm.
"Wait." Wonwoo stopped before going back in and coming out with his key and bookbag. "Where are we going?" He looked at Mingyu.
"Breakfast."
