"My name's Mingyu by the way." Mingyu informed the man in front of him who simply rolled his eyes before walking away.
"Don't worry! I'll make you mine!" Mingyu shouted before remembering he was in public. He quickly covered his face and rushed out...
Mingyu took occasional glances at Wonwoo as they walked to one of Mingyu's favourite breakfast places on campus.
They finally got to the breakfast spot and luckily there were not many people there. "What do you recommend?" Wonwoo glanced at Mingyu.
"Oh, m-me?" Mingyu asked a bit startled by Wonwoo talking to him first. "Mhmm."
"I like this." Mingyu pointed to his favourite menu, a pizza burger concoction. It didn't look too pleasant to the eyes but it was certainly a feast for the mouth.
Wonwoo looked at Mingyu with a 'Are you serious?' face before turning back to the cashier. "I'll take this." He pointed to Mingyu's recommendation. Mingyu smiled at Wonwoo listening to him as they plated the pizza burger concoction.
"I'll pay." Mingyu said taking out his card. Wonwoo was too tired to refute it so he just said, "thanks" and walked over to a table after taking the plate.
Mingyu followed soon after dropping a cup of water beside Wonwoo. Wonwoo checked the cup before taking a tiny sip.
Mingyu waited for the beauty to try the pizza burger and as he did, he saw Wonwoo's eyes widen in surprise. A smile adorned on his face. "Do you like it?" Mingyu asked wanting confirmation.
Wonwoo looked at Mingyu, a brief smile appearing on his face before he nodded. "Mhmm, it's good." He replied.
"I knew you'd like it!" Mingyu exclaimed receiving looks from the staff. Wonwoo chuckled a bit before taking another tiny bite.
"Why didn't you get anything?" Wonwoo asked and Mingyu shrugged. "Oh, I've eaten already." He replied and Wonwoo rolled his eyes, now aware of Mingyu's plan.
"You know, you're so different from when I first met you." Mingyu admitted grabbing Wonwoo's attention. "In what way?" Wonwoo asked swallowing his bite.
"When we first met, you swore at me but now you're so shy and cute and you can't even look me in the eye for more than five seconds." Mingyu explained just as Wonwoo looked back at his food.
"That's not true." Wonwoo disagreed still not looking at Mingyu. "Look at me then." Mingyu folded his arms and Wonwoo raised his head, his eyes meeting with Mingyu's.
But he couldn't keep it for 5 seconds, accepting his defeat. "See! ...But it's cute." Mingyu murmured before glancing at Wonwoo whose face was now somewhat red.
Was be blushing? Mingyu couldn't shake the thought and honestly he didn't want to.
He smiled while waiting patiently for Wonwoo to finish his meal although if it was Seokmin or Minghao, he would have left them already.
Once Wonwoo finished his meal, he put the cup on top of the plate and pushed it to the middle of the table before cleaning up the crumbs with a tissue and throwing it away.
"Are you ready to go?" Mingyu asked and Wonwoo checked the time before nodding. "My class starts soon." He told Mingyu as they walked out of the restaurant.
"I'm going now, thanks for the recommendation." Wonwoo said just as he started to walk off.
"Wonwoo hyung!" Mingyu called making the beauty turn to him. "Bye!" Mingyu waved, his usual smile plastered on his face. He saw Wonwoo smile a bit before waving back.

Wonwoo looked at the giant puppy in front of him who was now waving with the brightest smile on his face. Wonwoo felt his heartbeat increasing by the second as he waved back before continuing his walk.
He wouldn't lie. He liked- no he loved Mingyu's company. It was new and different, Mingyu was being there for him unlike his friends who were most of the time, too busy.
It was also really hard to maintain his normal expression when he was around Mingyu. The boy somehow managed to actually make Wonwoo feel things and he had only met him yesterday.
It was insane. Wonwoo didn't know why Mingyu had so much control over him and he honestly, didn't even mind it.
Although he was still a bit cautious. Wonwoo had many issues regarding his self esteem, body image and he also had a lot of trauma which made him lose trust in most people.
If Mingyu really wanted to know Wonwoo, he would have to be the most patient man alive and Wonwoo did have his doubts about that.
But he was somewhat willing to give Mingyu a chance, which was what amazed him, because he would never do that to anyone.
Except Mingyu.
Why was Mingyu the exception?
