"My name's Mingyu by the way." Mingyu informed the man in front of him who simply rolled his eyes before walking away.
"Don't worry! I'll make you mine!" Mingyu shouted before remembering he was in public. He quickly covered his face and rushed out...
Mingyu had been awake for a while, admiring the beauty in front of him. He'd labelled himself as a Wonwoo philocalist with how much he'd studied and adored Wonwoo's features.
Wonwoo's eyes opened slightly and Mingyu smiled faintly, his hands still tracing random shapes on Wonwoo's back.
"Good morning love." Mingyu's hand moved to Wonwoo's cheek as he yawned so cutely, like a cat. "Good morning Gyu." Wonwoo replied, his voice so deep, that is shocked Mingyu a bit.
"Your voice is so hot." Mingyu admitted, bringing his face closer to Wonwoo's as he turned on his side. "Are you trying to seduce me again? Was last night not enough for you?" Wonwoo asked and Mingyu remembered what had happened yesterday.
He somewhat couldn't believe that Wonwoo trusted him that much especially all he'd been through. He felt a bit undeserving but grateful at the same time.
"No, it wasn't enough." Mingyu joked, shaking his head. Wonwoo chuckled before playfully rolling his eyes. The two stared at each other in silence before Wonwoo rolled towards Mingyu and placed his face in the crook of Mingyu's neck.
Mingyu, satisfied with the position, pulled Wonwoo closer, keeping his arm draped over the boy and in that position, the two drifted off to sleep again.
Safe and sound in each other's arms.
Mingyu woke up again about an hour later and checked the time. It was 12pm. He got out of bed without waking Wonwoo up and picked up his phone from the bedside table.
He checked to see if he had any texts or calls from his parents but nothing came through. They still didn't care.
Mingyu was hurt but not surprised. He didn't think they'd reach out to him anyways.
Mingyu threw on some sweatpants and walked to the door unlocking it before going out. He moved to the kitchen, ready to cook when footsteps stopped him.
He turned to see Wonwoo standing behind him. "Oh babe, I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" Mingyu asked and Wonwoo shook his head before putting his hands around Mingyu, trapping him in a tight hug.
"Gyu, is this what love feels like?" Wonwoo's question brought a smile on Mingyu's face as he hugged the beauty back. "Yes beauty, this is what love feels like."
Once they let go, Mingyu realized that they were both experiencing romantic love for the first time and it only made him more certain that Wonwoo was the one for him.
"What are you doing?" Wonwoo looked around before yawning. "I was going to make some-"
He stopped speaking as he noticed the expression on Wonwoo's face. "I thought I banned you from the kitchen." Wonwoo folded his hands and crossed his legs.
"I know, but I love cooking, can't you just trust me this once? I won't hurt myself... I promise." Mingyu brought out his pinky.
Wonwoo sighed before interlocking it with his. "Fine." Wonwoo said and Mingyu pecked his cheek before opening one of the cupboards.
He'd decided to make a bulgogi sandwich with a recipe he'd seen online because he was sure Wonwoo would love it.

Wonwoo read an e-book on his phone as he waited for Mingyu to finish cooking although he had been taking glances at the boy to make sure he didn't hurt himself.
Wonwoo felt complete. After last night, being able to give himself to Mingyu and forget about his past, Wonwoo felt like a whole new person. The burden that was his past had stopped weighing on him and he finally felt free and like he could do anything.
It was all because of Mingyu.
Now Wonwoo couldn't even imagine his life without the puppy whose infectious positivity and love protected Wonwoo even in his darkest times.
He was so grateful for Mingyu and for everyone else who loved him despite how broken he was.
"What are you thinking about?" Mingyu's voice pulled him out of his thoughts. He turned his head slightly and planted a kiss on Mingyu's lips which made the boy smile.
"The food's ready." Mingyu said and Wonwoo stood up. "Do you have an extra toothbrush?" Wonwoo asked and Mingyu nodded going to his room.
He came out and gave Wonwoo the toothbrush and the two brushed their teeth together.
After brushing, they sat down to eat their meal which Wonwoo was excited for once he saw the plating. "It looks so good Gyu." Wonwoo picked up the sandwich and took a bite.
As he tasted the meat which melted in his mouth and bonded perfectly with the bread, he closed his eyes and let out a sigh of satisfaction.
"Okay, you're unbanned from the kitchen." Wonwoo looked at Mingyu who smiled. "Yay! You like it!" He cheered before also taking a bite.
"You need to teach me how to cook." Wonwoo said before taking his second bite. Mingyu chuckled before shaking his head. "Hmm, I don't know about that." Mingyu joked which made Wonwoo roll his eyes.
But he was happy. He really hoped this would last. He hoped for the day the two would wake up to just each other with smiles on their faces.
He hoped for happiness.
