"You can choose anything you like, seriously, I never use that card anyways." Mingyu assured Wonwoo who was definitely being to frugal with his decisions.

"It's your birthday." Mingyu reminded the beauty. "Yeah, I know but... this is new to me." Wonwoo explained and Mingyu took his hand, guiding him to a bookstore he'd seen earlier.

"Okay, if it's hard buying really expensive stuff, then just buy as many books as you want." Mingyu gestured to the store which was filled with all sorts of books with their genres written above them.

Wonwoo took a deep breath before looking at Mingyu. "Any book I want?" He clarified and Mingyu nodded. "As many as you want."

Maybe he shouldn't have said that because an hour later, they were still in the store and Wonwoo now had three bags full of books.

Luckily, while Wonwoo was browsing through the sections, Mingyu was able to get his own gift for Wonwoo which Mr Kim had already taken to the car.

"Wonwoo... hyung, don't you want to buy anything else?" Mingyu stopped the beauty as he passed by. "You said as many as I want though." Wonwoo pouted and Mingyu let him go. He was too cute to restrain.

"I did say that... carry on then." He replied and Wonwoo smiled again, continuing his search. At this point, they would be here until it was time to go to the play.

By 2:30, Mingyu had to stop Wonwoo and pay for the 15 books the beauty had picked out. "You didn't choose that many." Mingyu pointed out and Wonwoo shrugged. "Quality over quantity puppy." Mingyu smiled. He loved Wonwoo's new pet name for him.

"We should get something to eat." Mingyu suggested and Wonwoo agreed, taking his bags of books from the cashier.

"What do you want?" Mingyu asked, his arm around Wonwoo. "I don't know why but I'm craving a burger." Wonwoo replied and Mingyu started to search for fast food places in the mall.

Eventually, they found a restaurant that served luxury burgers which they both became intrigued by.

"So I'm not allowed to pay for anything?" Wonwoo questioned and Mingyu gave a sharp nod before turning back to the worker.

"Can we get two of your steak burgers, one black pork burger and two milkshakes?" Mingyu told the cashier who nodded, putting the order into the system.

"That'll be 63,959 won." The cashier informed Mingyu who took out his card and gave her. "60 what? Can we split it?" Wonwoo begged but Mingyu maintained his decision. He was not going to let Wonwoo buy anything today.

He put in his pin and the transaction finished with the cashier handing over his receipt. "You're so evil." Wonwoo folded his arms and Mingyu chortled. "How am I evil, Jeon Wonwoo?" He asked and Wonwoo went red for like the millionth time during this holiday.

"Don't call me Jeon Wonwoo, I'm your hyung." Wonwoo muttered and Mingyu chuckled. "Oh really? Okay, hyung." Mingyu said in a monotonous voice and Wonwoo sighed.

"Maybe don't call me hyung... unless it's necessary." He reiterated making Mingyu laugh. "Yeah, that's what I thought."

The food finally arrived and Mingyu helped Wonwoo cut his burger into tinier pieces and split the pork burger in half.

Wonwoo took a bite of the regular burger and the corners of his mouth slowly lifted up, his tongue pleased at the taste of the burger. He'd never eaten a luxury burger before but if this was how they all tasted, he had acquired a love for them now.
