"My name's Mingyu by the way." Mingyu informed the man in front of him who simply rolled his eyes before walking away.
"Don't worry! I'll make you mine!" Mingyu shouted before remembering he was in public. He quickly covered his face and rushed out...
Mingyu stopped stuttering and finally noticed the smile that had found a way unto Wonwoo's face. This was the first time Mingyu had seen the beauty smile or show any emotion(that wasn't disgust) really.
He couldn't help but point it out, literally, pointing his index finger at Wonwoo's lips. "What?" Wonwoo asked touching his face.
"You're smiling." Mingyu replied, also starting to smile. He'd gotten his mystery man to smile. The day was going great.
"No, I'm not." Wonwoo refuted, the smile vanished from his face. Mingyu pouted before standing straight. "That's cheating!" He complained and he could have sworn he heard Wonwoo chuckle. Another victory!
"You two! Jun's about to cut the cake!" A boy in a tiger print shirt, black camo pants and a black beanie exclaimed before rushing back to the living room.
"That must be Hoshi... hyung?" Mingyu guessed. "Mhmm." Wonwoo replied before the two also rushed to the living room.
Mingyu got out his phone to record just before everyone started to sing happy birthday. Although he did lose track once he moved the camera to Wonwoo whose eyes lit up as he sang happy birthday to Jun.
The corners of Mingyu's lips slowly rose as he continued to watch Wonwoo through the camera. He was so... beautiful. The kind of beautiful that was so superior that Mingyu, the king of words, ran out of words to describe it with.
"Hurray!" Everyone screamed as Jun cut the cake and Mingyu finally ended the video before clapping with the rest of the guests.
"Any words Junie?" Minghao asked, his eyes focused on his boyfriend's face, a permanent smile on his lips.
"Well, I would just like to thank everyone for today, I can't imagine how much money and time you all spent to make this party possible, for me when I don't even deserve this." Jun started off.
"No Jun, you deserve it so much!" Hoshi retorted making Jun smile. "Recently I've been feeling very homesick but you guys served my favourite childhood dishes and you made my favourite flavour of cake and you guys really are the best and I just want to appreciate you all especially my love, Minghao, and my soulmates Jihoon, Soonyoung and Wonwoo."
Mingyu glanced at Wonwoo and noticed he had a tear stain on his cheek. "He must be very close to Jun hyung." Mingyu said to himself before going to the bathroom and taking some tissue.
"To them!" Jun raised his glass as Mingyu came out and all the guests followed. "To them!" They all cheered before clinking their glasses together.
Mingyu moved closer to Wonwoo and tapped him before handing him the tissue. "Here." He said and Wonwoo cleaned his tears before balling up the tissue.
"Thank you."
"No problem." Mingyu replied. "Do you want a drink?" Mingyu asked Wonwoo who nodded. "Yeah, not alcohol though." Wonwoo informed the boy who took note before going to the kitchen.
He took a cup and opened the fridge taking out the half bottle of sprite and opening it with his teeth. He poured the drink into the plastic cup before closing the bottle and putting it back in the fridge.
He walked back to Wonwoo and handed him the cup. "Thanks... are you not going to drink anything?" Wonwoo asked and Mingyu shook his head. "Nah, I'm not thirsty." Mingyu replied but in reality he didn't want to get drunk and forget this night, it was way too important to him now.
Wonwoo was way too important to him now.

Wonwoo's eyes fluttered open. He'd woken up even before his alarm and he wondered why. His eyes glanced at his phone, the notification on the screen coming into his view.
He sat up and groaned before picking up his phone and looking at the message from an unknown number.
He tapped on it opening the message.
011-XXXX-XXXX: Hey 👋 It's Mingyu, from yesterday and the café if you remember me.
011-XXXX-XXXX: You remember me right? I got you a cup of sprite yesterday too.
011-XXXX-XXXX: Minghao kind of gave me your number, I didn't ask him for it though!
011-XXXX-XXXX: Just wanted to say good morning and have a good day!
Wonwoo rubbed his eyes before reading the messages again. He'd never been sent a good morning at exactly 6am before. The more he got to know Mingyu, the more interesting he got and as much as Wonwoo didn't want to admit it, he really appreciated Mingyu's company yesterday.
After Hoshi and Jihoon got together and Jun got a boyfriend, Wonwoo rarely ever had anyone to hang out with talk less of staying by his side at parties.
But Mingyu did that even though he could've chosen to hang out with literally anyone else and Wonwoo found him to be very kind for that.
He was still a little weird though.
Wonwoo saved the number as MINGYU before putting his phone down and going back to bed. He had his first class by 11 so he had enough time before he needed to get ready.
As he closed his eyes, he wondered why Mingyu was so up early, maybe he had an early class?
Wait, why was he even wondering about Mingyu?!
