Wonwoo held his heart as the door opened and Mingyu appeared before him. Mingyu had just found out about Wonwoo's dark past and he'd also just yelled at his two best friends.
Not being able to handle everyone's eyes on him, Wonwoo turned around and bolted to his dorm. He wasn't ready to go through this again. Not so soon.
As he tried to close the door, a leg blocked the space between the door and its hinges. "We need to talk." He heard Mingyu say before the boy forcefully let himself into the house.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you." Mingyu said before hugging Wonwoo who had let his tears fall out of his eyes. He gripped unto Mingyu tight, closing his eyes in hopes of this moment lasting forever.
The two held unto each other in silence for a while before letting go of each other. "I'm going to find that bastard." He heard Mingyu murmur.
"Mingyu." He tapped on the boy's hand. Mingyu immediately looked at Wonwoo. "He left Korea and, you don't need to find him. I don't care about him anymore."
Mingyu's face softened as he looked at Wonwoo. "I just want you to know that it's okay if you're not completely fine or if you're not fine at all, that's why I'm here. So you can lean on me and confide in me, okay?" Mingyu cleaned off the tears that slid down Wonwoo's cheeks but his words only made Wonwoo tear up even more.
"I would never, ever, do that to you... I would never hurt you." Mingyu assured Wonwoo as they interlocked hands. Wonwoo looked at Mingyu who was so... sincere with his feelings and he started to feel guilty. Guilty that he still didn't know anything about how he felt.
"Gyu, I'm sorry." Wonwoo apologised, looking down at his hands. "You have nothing to be sorry about." Mingyu led him to the couch.
"No, I do, I fucked up. I kissed you and then I ran aw-"
"You don't have to talk about it." Mingyu interrupted but Wonwoo refused, shaking his head. "I want to talk about it, I want to explain, I know what I did hurt and confused you and I'm sorry, but I need you to just hear me out, please?" Wonwoo pleaded.
"I don't know what I am. I thought I wasn't into guys after everything that's happened but then you came into my life and you turned everything upside down and from the first day I met you, for some reason, I was so... intrigued by you." Wonwoo explained, settling into a comfortable position.
"And then we met again and again and it just seemed like you were really sent down from heaven to look after me and I don't know exactly when it happened but my heart started to get heavy and beat faster whenever you came around but whenever you left, I was lonely, empty again." Wonwoo noticed Mingyu sniffling. Was he crying?
"And then we kissed and all of my fears just melted away like they were never there but my head is just so stupid, I started remembering that night and I ran away and I shouldn't have run away, I didn't even want to run away but things just became so awkward after and it was all my fault." Wonwoo took in a breath.
"What I'm trying to say is... I need you Mingyu. Right now you're the only person I don't think I could live without and I don't know if that means I like you but what I do know is I need you and I want us back, that is, if you-"
Wonwoo was cut off by the feeling of Mingyu's lips on his. The sensation took him by surprise but he recollected himself and closed his eyes, kissing the boy back.
Unlike their first one, this kiss was slow and sensual as all their feelings unravelled. Wonwoo's tears dropped silently, falling down his cheek as Mingyu laid him down gently on the couch.
