** First of all , sorry for the late and short update. I'm feeling pretty sick today , not so serious .

Enjoy the chapter, readers. I'll try to update a long chapter next **

In the dimly lit room only the sound of the soulful melody was drifting from the speakers. The humidifier's gentle hum created a misty veil.

Nehal's fingers were smoothly moving on the mouse pad of his laptop.

" Elliot James Reay...I think they call this Love."

Nehal's lip moved as he muttered under breath.

He tapped on it . A song started playing ,

Nehal's bare torso gleamed in the faint light, his grey sweatpants hanging low on his hips. He walked towards the window with a fluid grace, the red wine bottle cradled in his hand .

( Listen the song I mentioned to get better vibe )

🎶They say, you know when you know

So let's face it, you had me at hello

Hesitation never helps

How could this be anything, anything else?🎶

As he reached the window, he paused, humming the haunting refrain of the song. The city outside was a blurred tapestry, lights twinkling like distant stars behind the trees. His eyes became melancholic . The lyrics he was humming , seemed dedicated to someone.

" All I dream of is your eyes

All I long for is your touch

And darlin', something tells me that's enough, mmm

You can say that I'm a fool

And I don't know very much

But I think they call this love"

He hummed and then poured the rich, crimson wine into a glass . His eyes, lost in the past, reflected a deep longing.

🎶Baby, you're on my mind, every night, every day

Good vibrations getting loud

How could this be anything, anything else?🎶

He raised the glass to his lips, the wine's bold scent wafting up. As he sipped, his gaze drifted into the night, memories swirling like the mist from the humidifier.

A notification popped up on his mobile screen , he read the message and slid it away from the notification bar .

A soft looking teenager's picture on his phone wallpaper , Nehal's thumb caressed gently the smiling face through his mobile screen.

He whispered softly : " Ishu.."

Unrequited love's bitter ache still lingered.

Memories of Ishan's smile, laughter, and gentle touch taunted him, echoes of what could never be. The lyrics of the song were resonating with his feelings , he leaned on the window frame , back facing the outside.

"What could this be

Between you and me...."

Nehal's hum faded, his voice cracking beneath the weight of nostalgia. The song's lyrics now seemed to mock him, a cruel reminder of his unfulfilled desires.

He turned toward the window , eyes darted on the bench under the old Gulmohar tree.

The day Ishan left his house , he was sitting on this bench. His beautiful eyes were gazing at his window. Nehal never let anyone sit on this bench after Ishan left . His heart twisted with desire when College going Ishan's smiling face flashed inside his mind.
