Hey cuties , I'm back with another update .

The story will get more complicated , full of suspense from this chapter . There'll be little bit of angst but not like season 1 , please bear with it .

If there's no angst then there's no drama.

Growing up watching Ekta Mata's serials , author got inspired by her 😁

Please don't be unhappy 😭 , I promised earlier to give fluffy Nehash moments and Ivan's moments here but rn I had no energy left to pull the chapter more longer.

So , for those moments , I'll show them in the upcoming chapters 🤧

The chapter will make you confuse ,  just wait for the mystery to unfold.

Happy reading ❤️

Nehal's fingers squeezed the wine glass hard . His stomach was burning after one sip of golden Laphroaig four oak , a reminder of the seven hours since he'd last eaten. The wine and the first whiskey hadn't helped; in fact, the second whiskey burning in his empty belly seemed to sharpen his frustration. He just wanted to keep drinking until the annoying uneasiness in his head went away.

Just moments ago, Shubman's manager had approached with news. The prominent minister and his family, guests at the event, were preparing to leave.

In India, if you want to do business, it's really important to keep political figures, especially those in power happy .

Shubman had swiftly instructed Ishan to order dinner according to his own preferences and hurried off with his manager towards the courtyard. Yash met the manager's gaze who signaled him . He excused himself from the table to follow the manager.

Left at the table, Nehal's gaze turned icy as he fixed it on Tilak. Tilak had definitely seen Nehal's hostile stare, but he pretended not to notice.

He kept his attention glued to Ishan, asking him all sorts of questions in a cheerful voice: the chef's specialty, Ishan's favorite dish, his preferred regional cuisine, and whether he'd ever sampled the delights of Hyderabadi cooking.

A sleek digital tablet lay on each table, glowing softly.

This wasn't just any digital menu; it was a brand-new software launched by Shubman himself. He was subtly showcasing its features tonight, allowing guests to browse the menu, select dishes individually, and even add personalized cooking instructions. Shubman chose a clever way to promote his newly launched software.

Ishan tapped away at the tablet, choosing dishes for Shubman and himself, all while chatting animatedly with Tilak, a warm smile gracing his lips.

"Oh, I absolutely love Hyderabadi cuisine!" Ishan exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. "Especially their Biriyani. Just last month, we were in Hyderabad. My son, Ivan, was playing in the Junior Inter-State Cricket tournament for Maharashtra. We went to an amazing restaurant to celebrate his win, and that's where I first tried Hyderabadi Biriyani. It's my favorite now!"

As he spoke, his fingers danced across the tablet, adding a note to Shubman's order: "No onion, less salt." He smiled to himself, knowing Shubman's intense dislike for onions; he wouldn't touch a dish if even a sliver was present. Shubman hates the smell of onion.

A while back before Ovi was born , Ishan and his sister-in-law, Shahneel, had decided on a whim to visit a popular local Dhaba.

There, Ishan had savored the simple pleasure of raw onion alongside spicy Chana Masala and soft Kulcha .
