Nehal Markande , elder brother of his childhood best friend Mayank Markande. For a moment Ishan forgot his sadness. Nehal is not his family member but Ishan considered him more than his family. Why not ? This man was the reason Ishan reached this place. Ishan was born and brought up in Patna , Bihar. When he was in 4th standard , a new family shifted in his neighbourhood. Mayank's father transferred to Bihar. The boy , who decided to sit beside him in his first day of school became his best friend , Mayank. Ishan was a timid child. Senior boys of his school often bullied him . Mayank was little rebellious , he protested every time when they bullied Ishan. Mayank's elder brother is 7 years older than them. He also admitted in 11th grade in their school. One day Mayank told her brother about everything. Next day Nehal and his friend beat the bully team blue black. They were summoned by their head master. Nehal was suspended for a week. After that they stopped bullying Ishan.
Nehal always protected him . Ishan considered him as his own brother then. Next year when his father died , no relative of his was agreed to help them. It was only Markande family who were beside them. Ishan will never forget that. Process of his father's pension delayed. All of their savings was spent in his father's treatment. His mother was crying and begging for some help . No one helped them . Mayank's father came to their house in one evening and handed his mother a envelope. His mother cried and didn't want to take the money from his neighbour.
" Kishan was my friend more like brother. I am unable to sit still when his family is suffering like this. If taking money hurt your esteem, return me later. Think about Ishan , he is just 10 years old , think about his future." Mayank's father said.
After that they became like a family.
Mayank was his best friend but Ishan was more close to Nehal . If he had any kind of problem , first one came to his mind was him.
When Nehal got admission in an engineering college in Delhi. Ishan cried holding him. His Nehal bhaiya would have to leave him .
Whenever Nehal came home for vacation. He would come to meet Ishan. He took him and Mayank for movies , picnic and other places.
One day Ishan's mother had to go to see his grandmother who was in hospital. Ishan's mother planned to stay there for one night so he asked Nehal to stay with Ishan. She didn't want to leave Ishan at home alone.
After dinner Nehal was telling him stories about his college. They were sitting on the sofa.
" Nehal Bhaiya do you have a girlfriend?" Ishan asked out of curiosity. He learned new about the Girlfriend Boyfriend things. Nehal paused.
" Tell me na Bhaiya. Most of the boys in my class has girlfriend. " Ishan whined.
