The air inside the warehouse was electric, charged with the tension of the moment as Damian and Izzy stood facing their fathers. It was as if the weight of years of betrayal, anger, and unresolved tension were hanging in the air, waiting to explode.

Damian's heart pounded in his chest, his body rigid as he squared off against his father, Enrico. He had always feared this moment-the point of no return where everything would be laid bare, where he would finally be forced to choose his own path, no matter the cost.

"I gave you everything," Enrico said, his voice low and dangerous. "And you've thrown it all away for what? A girl? A fantasy?"

Damian clenched his fists, anger and frustration swirling inside him. "You never gave me anything but chains. I was never free to make my own choices, to be my own person. You controlled everything-my life, my future. But not anymore."

Enrico's lips twisted into a cruel smile. "You think you can just walk away from this life? You're a Rossi. You were born into this. You can't change that."

"I can," Damian shot back, his voice filled with determination. "And I will."

Beside him, Izzy stood tall, her eyes locked on her father, Vincent. She had always known this confrontation was coming, but that didn't make it any easier. The man who had raised her, who had shaped her into who she was, had betrayed her in ways she couldn't forgive.

"You're coming with me, Isabella," Vincent said, his voice cold and final. "This ends tonight."

Izzy's heart raced, but she didn't flinch. "No, it doesn't. I'm not going back. Not to you, not to the life you built on lies and manipulation."

Vincent's eyes darkened, his hand tightening around the gun at his side. "You're my daughter. You don't get to make that choice."

Izzy felt a surge of anger, her body trembling with the force of it. "You don't own me anymore, Dad. I'm not a pawn in your game. I'm not part of your empire. I'm free."

Damian's hand tightened around hers, their connection grounding her as the tension in the room built to a fever pitch.

Suddenly, Enrico's voice cut through the air, sharp and cold. "Enough."

He stepped forward, his gaze hard as he looked at Damian. "You've always been weak, Damian. Soft. I thought you would grow out of it, that you would learn what it means to be a Rossi. But you never did. And now you've betrayed the family for this girl."

Damian's pulse quickened, his body tensing as he met his father's gaze. "I didn't betray the family. I betrayed you. And I'll never regret it."

Enrico's eyes narrowed, his hand sliding inside his coat to retrieve a gun. "Then you leave me no choice."

Everything happened in an instant.

Enrico raised the gun, his eyes burning with fury as he aimed it directly at Damian. But before he could pull the trigger, a gunshot rang out, echoing through the warehouse.

Damian froze, his heart stopping as he looked toward Izzy. She stood with her father's gun in her hand, her eyes wide with shock and fear. But the shot hadn't come from her.

It had come from behind.

Tony stepped out of the shadows, his gun still smoking as he lowered it, his face grim.

"I couldn't let you do it," Tony said, his voice rough as he looked at Enrico, who staggered back, clutching his side where the bullet had grazed him. "Not to your own son."

Enrico's eyes blazed with fury, but he was wounded, weakened. He looked at Tony with a mix of betrayal and disbelief. "You... you dare turn against me?"

Tony shook his head, his expression hard. "This has gone too far, Enrico. Damian deserves better than this. He deserves to live his own life."

Enrico's lips curled into a sneer, but before he could respond, Vincent stepped forward, his gun aimed directly at Izzy. "I don't care about your family drama. This is about my daughter."

Damian's heart raced as he moved in front of Izzy, shielding her from Vincent's gun. "You're not taking her."

Vincent's eyes narrowed, his finger tightening on the trigger. "Get out of my way, Damian. This is between me and her."

But before anyone could move, another figure appeared in the doorway. It was Luca's second-in-command, a man named Marco, flanked by several armed men. Marco's eyes scanned the scene, taking in the chaos and the tension in the room.

"This ends now," Marco said, his voice firm as his men spread out, weapons at the ready. "Put the guns down. All of you."

Damian's heart pounded as he looked at Marco, uncertainty gripping him. Were they here to help or to finish what Luca had started?

Enrico's face twisted with rage as he looked at Marco. "You have no authority here."

Marco's eyes darkened. "Luca is dead. And now, I'm in charge."

Damian's breath caught in his throat. Luca's death had left a power vacuum, and Marco had seized the opportunity. But what did that mean for them?

Marco stepped forward, his gaze shifting between Damian, Izzy, and their fathers. "We can settle this here, right now. Or you can walk away. But if you choose to fight, you'll lose everything."

Damian's mind raced, his heart pounding in his chest. This was their chance, their one opportunity to escape the cycle of violence and betrayal that had defined their lives. But could they really trust Marco?

Beside him, Izzy squeezed his hand, her voice steady. "We're walking away."

Damian's eyes locked with hers, and he nodded, his heart swelling with determination. "We're done with this."

He turned to face his father, Enrico's eyes filled with rage and disbelief. "I'm leaving. And I'm never coming back."

Enrico's jaw clenched, his face pale from the blood loss, but he didn't say a word. He simply watched as Damian and Izzy began to walk toward the exit, their steps slow and deliberate.

Vincent's voice cut through the air, sharp and venomous. "You can't just walk away from this, Isabella."

Izzy turned, her gaze hard. "Watch me."

With that, they stepped out into the night, the cold air biting at their skin as they left behind the warehouse, the family, and the life they had once known.

For the first time in what felt like forever, they were free.
