"i appreciate the gesture ludie, i mean i really do your cookings great; but you called me over 'cause you were too tired to take care of dallas by yourself, you shouldn't be up anymore since he's asleep you especially shouldn't be trying to make cookies." larry trailed behind ludie as she strolled through her kitchen pulling out the equipment she needed to bake him some sweets.
"i know you're right larry, i know i should listen to you and i promise i will; but i can't let you leave this house without knowing how grateful i am to have you in my life." while her words did bring a small smile to his characteristically stoic face, larry didn't let up as no amount of flattery mattered more to him than her health; mentally and physically.
"ludie i'm serious, you should know by now i'd drop anything to help you out; knowing you're alright is worth more than a verbal thank you to me, now go to bed." he spoke sternly, his sharp glare sending an electric shiver down her spine as he had grabbed her arm and forced her to turn around.
