I wake up to the blaring sound of my alarm clock, groaning as I rub my eyes and struggle to turn off the alarm.
"Turn that off please." groaned someone through my phone, reminding me that I was still on call with Lando.
I quickly move to turn it off, sending him a quick apology. I get up and picking my clothes out and grabbing my phone to take it with me to the bathroom.
"Why are you awake at seven in the morning?" he groaned again, clearly not falling back asleep.
"Go back to sleep Land, I'll mute."
"No, I'm awake now because of you, you have to talk to me." he states.
"Lan, we went to sleep late go to bed don't worry about me." I try to reassure him.
"I want to talk to you Belle, please."
"Okay, okay. I have to go to a meeting in Bristol for a possible client with my associate Migue." I tell him, brushing my hair and putting it into a ponytail and brushing my teeth.
"I'm from Bristol." he says, interested now at the mention of his city.
"Really? I love Bristol but I've just always lived in the city here." I shrug, turning off my camera so I can change.
"I love it there, I'm actually going tomorrow to spend some time with my family and friends." he tells me, now getting up from his bed.
"You're in Silverstone, right?" I ask.
"Yes, I don't like it here very much though, only come for the race."
"Ah, I haven't been to many other cities, including Silverstone." I say.
"You should come for the race next year."
"We'll see when it comes to then." I reply, spraying some perfume so I could leave my house soon and go pick up Miguel. "Do you want me to hang up or do you want to stay with me while I go pick him up?"
"I actually have to go, now that I'm up early I should probably start showering and get ready for my brunch with Carlos." he says.
"Alright then, this was fun, Bye Lan."
"Bye Belle." he returns.
I hung up the call, grabbed my purse, and quickly text Migue to let him know I'm on my way. Once he responds back, I make my way inside my Mercedes (part of the reason I chose to support the team), gifted to me from my dad for graduating college, and start my way to his apartment.
Once I was outside, I texted him to let him know I arrived and waited for him to come down and get into my car.
"Hey Isa, what's up?" He greets me, giving me a kiss on the check. He was one of the few people I know in Britain that were Hispanic, so whenever we hung out it was like a fresh air of home culture.
