Once we left the restaurant, we got back in Lando's car where we drove a good twenty minutes before, we arrived at a large empty field. He helped me out of the car as we walked through the semi-tall grass and flower filled field.

"This place is beautiful Lan." I say as he places out a blanket for us to sit on.

"I used to come here whenever I was overwhelmed or needed a break." he shrugs, laying back on his forearms.

I send him a smile as I turn my face up to the sky, watching as the stars are brighter than I've ever seen them.

I feel a pair of eyes burning into my head, so I turn around to find Lando watching me, his eyes never leaving my face.

"Do I have something on my face?" I ask, my hand reaching to fix it.

Instead, he grabs onto my wrist, bringing my hand back down. "No." he answers, his gaze still yet to waver.

"Then what is it?" I ask, trying to keep eye contact despite feeling beyond nervous.

"Nothing, you're just nice to look at." he replies, a smile creeping on to his face.

I turn my face away, hoping to hide the deep red color that I could feel creeping on to my face. I feel Lando wrap his arms around my body as he brings me down to lay my head on his chest. I place my hand on my stomach as his fingers begin to slowly draw meaningless shapes on my skin.

"These next few weeks are going to be incredibly busy for me Belle, I just want you to know that I'm not trying to pull away but I won't be nearly as available to talk or even call, but I promise to try and be as available as I possibly can." he says, warning me.

"I know Lan, and I know you'll be busy so it's fine. I have some very packed weeks ahead of ne too Lando." I tell him.

We stay in silence for some time, every once in a while, one of us would point out a star or something nice we saw in the sky.

After a while, we decided to get back since I still needed to repack to leave the next day. Once in his car, I connected to the aux like I usually did, this time deciding to play something different than what we usually listened to.

"I didn't know you liked house?" He sort of questions as he hears Summertime Blues take over the speakers, making the car bounce a little.

"I love it, Mateo used to DJ at clubs all the time, so I got into the music very fast." I explain, putting a few more songs into the queue.
