After spending some time with Lando, he eventually left to return home to his family, making sure I was alright before he departed.
The remainder of the week, I spent mostly alone until Lando rejoined me for two days before we headed to Monaco. He wanted to show me his house, so I had agreed to spend the last few days of his summer break with him there, on the condition that he allowed me the time I needed to finish some work.
I was currently sitting outside on his balcony, laptop in hand, ordering various items that Horner had approved the night before. I was focusing on his personal office at the moment, and I needed his confirmation before proceeding with any purchases.
Lando had gone out for a jog, so I was alone in his apartment. Once I finished my task, I decided to get up and cook for us, so Lando wouldn't have to rely on another takeout box.
I rummaged through his pantry and found some uncooked pasta and tomatoes, so I set the water to boil for the pasta and began making what could be called a homemade tomato sauce with the tomatoes and some seasoning I found.
As I continued cooking, I heard Lando return. After giving me a quick kiss on the cheek, he headed off to the shower while I finished preparing the meal.
I set the table and prepared our plates, waiting for him to finish so we could eat.
"Thanks, Belle. This looks great," he said, sitting down in front of me.
