Unfortunately, Fleamont Potter had been unable to keep Sandy beyond breakfast the next day, despite any help he employed. Granted, it had been a late breakfast (due to having woken up in the middle of the night and fallen asleep again much later), so, she was out of the house by eleven thirty. He, however, was not given up.

On the other hand, Sandy continued on with her summer, wanting to get rid of all the horcruxes as soon as possible. Dobby had yet to come with any information, and she was worried she had pushed him too far. Regardless, she still worked on trying to use the last remaining horcrux in their possession to create a horcrux-locator spell of some kind. It had proven to be difficult.

As promised, however, she had been visiting a few friends here and there too. Seeing the Evans, for example, was quite nice. Petunia was getting a tutor over the summer, and allowed to practice magic at home (under the instruction that her own parents, and no other Muggles saw when she did this), to prepare her for the O.W.L.s, which she would take at the end of the summer. Lily had also been allowed to help her in her studies, and therefore able to do magic under the same rules. It had taken Sandy and Dumbledore quite a bit of convincing to achieve this summer program of sorts for the Squibs and Late bloomers that only got to attend Hogwarts after the Christmas break, but it had worked.

Marlene, and Mary had seen of her too a few times, although it was easier with the former whenever she visited the Potter-Blacks, seeing as the McKinnons were their neighbours. There were also hangouts between the Marauders, where she got with Peter and Remus too. The werewolf, however, had yet to bring up his knowledge on her having werewolf scars. Throughout the summer, he still got his Wolfsbane potion, although since he was away from Hogwarts, it was delivered to him by owl, under the name of Dumbledore (since Sandy had yet to acknowledge to anyone in the group other than Sirius, that she knew of his lycanthropy).

Sandy also went to Diagon Alley a couple of times, where she was currently. After spending the morning with Mrs Brent and the Princes, she was satisfied with how it had all evolved. Despite Eileen's constant attempt to leave, she had finally accustomed to her new life. Her skin had gained some colour, and her body some weight (to a more healthy standard). She seemed to always carry a small smile in her face (something Severus had admitted to have been previously unfamiliar with), and their clothes lacked patches, holes nor discoloration in the fabric. Mrs Brent also seemed quite pleased with the new roommates. As for Severus himself, he was a tad awkward under said woman's overbearing, nurturing nature, but was secretly enjoying it.

"Bye guys, I'll see you next week." She had more things for today's plans, and after checking up on them, Sandy left the shop and walked along the rest of Diagon Alley. That was until she made a turn, and got into Knockburn Alley. A few days back, she had  ordered a book from Moribund's, a shop in said dangerous street. No matter the own ancient books in her family's secret vault in Scotland, none alluded to the Dark Arts. And while there were books in the Forbidden Section of Hogwarts Library (which Dumbledore allowed her full access to), the few mentions of anything Horcrux related had yet to be enough to aid her in creating the spell, she had to resort to the detrimental alley. As soon as she entered the shop, she called out to the owner. "Mr Moribund? Sir? I'm here to pick up an order."
