"What is he doing here!?"

Minho thought, enraged.

They had all taken their seats in the dining hall and to Minho's dismay, Jisung had been seated by Chan at their table.

The higher ranks table.

And noone apart from him seemed even phased by that.

A straight up murderer was now sitting beside Felix, right in front of Minho. The two were excitedly chatting about some video game he didn't know. Their voices annoyed him beyond repair.

"Did Jisung seem calm?" Chan asked him under his breath that second.

"Yeah" Minho scoffed:
"Almost too calm"

"Good." Chan nodded:
"He seems to be adjusting well."

Minho was so angry he thought his brain would just explode any second.

"Why the fuck is he here!?" he wanted to ask:
"Send him to the trainees' table where he belongs!"

But even he knew that couldn't happen. They were tied together, weren't they?

"How disrespectful. People work their asses off for years to be able to sit at this table and he just gets a seat the first day."

He almost would've preferred to eat at the trainees' table himself.

Instead, he breathed and endured.

"Poison guy keeps slipping through our fingers, huh?" Changbin commented, directed to Seungmin.

"Just barely, I swear I had him in my grasp"

"Yeah, I'm sure..." Minho added sarcastically.

Seungmin turned to him, a half smirk decorating his lips:
"What? Upset you missed the action, Minmin?"

Rage built up again within Minho:
"Not at all." he said through his teeth.

"He totally is" Felix laughed, covering his mouth.

"Shut the fuck up, human torch"

"Oop, touched a nerve there" joked Seungmin again.

"Don't worry, Min. You'll get to fight next time" Felix reassured him, not phased by Minho's anger at all.

"Oh but I won't" Minho thought bitterly.

"Actually." Chan chose that second to interrupt them:
"Minho has been assigned to Jisung as his personal trainer."

Everyone's expressions opened up in surprise.

"Minho!?" Felix exclaimed.

"Yeah, didn't we collectively agree that his spicy personality is unfit for teaching?" Seungmin added.

Minho showed him the middle finger.

"Well, yes. Minho had requested to never be assigned a student. But these are special circumstances."

The table exchanged a curious look.

"Uhm" Jisung talked then.

His voice alone made Minho's stomach twist with annoyance.

"I still can't control my power properly and Minho agreed to help me with that"

"Aaaah, because of nullify" Changbin understood.

After that, noone talked about Jisung or their missions anymore.

That evening Jisung flopped on the bed mentally exhausted.

Being around Minho was the hardest thing he had had the misfortune to deal with.

He was cold, harsh and sarcastic.
Jisung didn't relate to him in any way.

And yet... he was also so cool.
He had saved him after all.

There was this aura about him...
Jisung couldn't help being a little fascinated.

"The strongest, huh?" he thought now, mouth slightly agape as he stared at Minho's back.

They had just finished buying all the things Jisung was missing. Using Chan's card, obviously.

"He cares for all of us." Minho had explained in one of his best moments:
"I know he seems scary sometimes but he's actually just a kind man with a dream"

Jisung had felt reassured by that.

"I'm in good hands."

"Here." Minho now told him:
"Your weird clothes"

Jisung just laughed awkwardly.
He had always had a somewhat alternative style and not many had understood it, not even his parents.

He couldn't have expected Minho to be any different.

"Minho" he called with a sigh.

The other turned to him:
"Yeah?"

"I know you're not happy with this arrangement....I can't blame you for it. But since this is how it is, can we at least try to get along?"

Minho stared him down with disgust in his eyes and scoffed:
"We'll see about that, nerd"

Then he disappeared in their shared bathroom.

"Well, I tried."
thought a defeated Jisung.
