Scylla 40: South Kingdom

We saw a land from afar, it's probably the South Kingdom. The tall buildings were glistening under the sun, I didn't expect that it would look like this.

“Is that the South Kingdom?” Elijah asked, there's a hint of amusement in his voice as his eyes lingered on the cityscape of the kingdom.

“Yes, my kingdom,” Dawn muttered with a proud look plastered on his face. He received a smack on his head from Zacharius, liningon niya ng bahagyang galit ang pangahas na namaltok sa kaniya at ng makita si Zacharius ay parang umatras iyon.

“Stupid, people here might hear you, nakalimutan mo yatang we're disguising ourselves.”

Maiyak-iyak namang napahawak si Dawn sa kaniyang ulo, “Kailangan mamaltok? Kailangan mamaltok?! Puwede mo namang sabihin na lang.” He said and rolled his eyes, hindi naman kumibo si Zacharius pagktapos ito irapan ni Dawn.

After few minutes, nakarating na rin kami sa daungan ng mga barko, may i-ilang nakahilerang ibang barko rito na kasalukuyang may ibinababa ring mga pasahero at ang iba naman ay mga kalakal.

We went down the ship one by one, some knights were patrolling on the deck and checking the belongings of the people. They're just probably doing it to ensure safety.

Since Dawn was the one who was holding the magic bag, we just let him line up for us. We went first and settled under the shade of a platinum tree and waited for him. A few sweats trickled down my face as the scorching heat of the sun could be felt even though I was hiding underneath the tree, it's also humid here.

Bago pa kami makarating sa South Kingdom ay pinaalalahanan kona silang pagkatungtong na pagkatungtong namin roon ay ang mga bagong pangalan namin ang mga gagamitin namin, ilang beses pang nagkamali ang ilan sa'min ay natatawag pa rin ang iba sa kanilang totoong pangalan kaya't pinag-practice ko sila para masanay na rin.

In a few days of traveling with them, I realized how unsuitable we were all for each other. They're the kind of people that I can't stand.

Dawn was energetic and chaotic, he was like a firecracker bouncing everywhere. Zacharius was the serious type but could be playful when he wanted to, and he was unstoppable when that time came. Elijah was just purely annoying and blunt. Oceana, on the other hand, is the typical princess type who gets easily annoyed, she can also be extra mean.

Achlys was the cold person who didn't seem to exist in our group unless he spoke and let us know that he was with us, but when he spoke, it's either you'll be traumatized or dumbfounded.

Aren't they're just a bunch of ill-mannered and crazy royalties? Hanggang ngayon napapaisip ako ba't ba ako humantong sa sitwasyon na 'to.

Hindi rin naman nagtagal at agad na natapos si Dawn sa pagpapa-inspection, mukhang hindi rin naman siya nakilala ng mga knights. 

“Dawn, do you know where the adventurers guild here?” I asked. He thinks for a few seconds before answering.

“As far as I remember, it was a few walks away from the kingdom's arc. I'll lead the way,” He replied which I just answered with a nod. We just tailed him behind his back until we reached the arc that he was talking about.

I halted on my position the moment my foot set its place to the entrance. Kung sa malayo pa lang ay maganda na ang kaharian na ito, lalo na pala kung pagmamasdan mo ito sa malapitan.

The cityscape was beautiful, enough to make me freeze on my spot just to marvel at the moment.

As we walked through the sea of crowds, I couldn't help but observe and be mesmerized by the surroundings. The architectural style of the infrastructure was a mix of modernity and greek. It was all painted in white, grey, and gold. The buildings have Corinthian columns on them, embellished with pristine carved lines.
