It's been 3 days since the incident in the hunting event happened, and yesterday I received a letter from the Imperial Palace about a trial.
A trial for me.
Nakapaloob na rin sa loob ng sulat ang pakay at detalye bakit ako ihaharap sa hukuman.
They see me as a threat... the nobles here in the capital. They saw the shadows I unleashed in the hunting event and accused me of being one with the monsters. Baka ako pa nga daw ang may kagagawan ng dungeon break out.
But despite all the accusations, I remained calm and unfazed. Do they really think putting me on a trial could damage me or hold me down? They're underestimating me since I usually kept my silence.
They even tried seizing me with my own territory, nagpadala ba naman ng mga kawal upang hulihin ako ngunit bigo ang mga ito na makapasok miski sa gate man lang. My knights immediately go to the capital the moment they heard the news.
We reached the main palace, I stepped down the carriage wearing my usual expression. Namataan kopa ang ilang nobles sa labas na papunta rin ngayon sa court room, all of them gawked their eyes at me as if I am a criminal.
Their glares lingered behind my back as I continued to walk towards the entrance of the courtroom. One of the Imperial knights immediately noticed my presence and gestured for me to stop, so he could announce my arrival.
I can feel Estelle's foul mood as she glances at everyone. Of course, she's mad.
She's fucking mad. But I told her to keep her cool, cause after all, everything is falling into its rightful place. It is all under my control.
The knight announced Scylla's arrival, and everyone inside the courtroom eyed her like a predator waiting for their prey. Scylla wore a bright dark red dress as if she was proclaiming a war in her mere appearance. It is fitted to her and has ruffles on the hem of it. Everything about her dress is sensitive to the atmosphere.
All the Kings and Queen of all the kingdoms are present, so is the Emperor and Empress who's sitting on their golden thrones in the middle of the room. Andito rin ang ilang head ng iba't ibang kilalang pamilya at may matataaas na katungkulan sa imperyo.
The courtroom is grand and elegant, it is huge, there are columns in every corner and the positions of the seats are elevated.
The Silvestres looks at Scylla worriedly, mababakas din ang matinding galit sa mga mata nito lalo na sa Hari.
'Accusing an innocent, how long would you all stoop down from the glory?' King Theon thought.
Scylla was already inside a circular platform, she refused to look up from the people above and kept her vision straight but held her head high with confidence.
“I wouldn't let you put me in a position where you can see me looking up to all of you,” she whispered under her breath.
