“Gods, I can't feel my legs anymore,” Dawn cried, collapsing to the sand with a dramatic thud.

I looked at how absurd he was, we just took a rest a while ago and now he was lying on the sand as if I had deprived him of rest. Pinalibot ko sa paligid ang paningin ko at bumalik sa mga kasama ko, we need to keep moving forward since the heat would take over if we stop.

I noticed that everyone here was probably tired, a bucket of sweat trickled down our faces while breathing heavily because of walking for hours.

They all have poor stamina. What do I expect?

"Dawn, can't you stand?” I asked whilst glowering in his direction. He looked up at me, slightly protruding his lips. “For now, let's keep moving, we'll find a place to rest later.”

Elijah pulled him up and I threw him a bottle of water to drink, bago pa namin gawin ang mission na 'to, naglakap na ako ng mga impormasyon patungkol sa Saoirse desert at pinag-aralan ang ilang bagay na malalaman rito.

“Saan tayo magpapahinga dito? Puro buhangin lang yata ang mayroon sa lugar na 'to,” Nababagot na saad ni Elijah, I actually commended their silence all throughout the way. Hindi ito mga nagreklamo at gumawa ng away pero katulad ng inaasahan ko, umiikli na ang pasensya nila dulot ng init at environment namin ngayon.

“I feel so itchy,” Oceana muttered in an irritated voice, she scratched her arms habang matalim ang mata na nakatingin sa kaniyang balat.

“Let's go, it'll be pointless if we keep staying here,” I ordered, nauna akong maglakad sa kanila at nagsisunudan naman ang mga 'to pero naririnig ko ang mahihinang reklamo nila.

We need to find that thing before the sunset, it'll be dangerous for us when the night comes. We already wandered too far into the desert.

“Elijah, can you stay away from me?! You're so annoying!” Napalingon ako ng marinig ang matinis at iritableng boses ni Oceana na ngayon ay halatang galit na.

“Excuse me, princess. You're the one who's keeps bumping to me, ang lagkit-lagkit na nga banga ka pa nang banga,” Sagot ni Elijah sabay pagpag ng kaniyang suot, nakakunot ang noo nito at inis na naglakad papalayo sa isa.

“What a jerk, ikaw 'tong humaharang sa dinadaanan ko,” If looks could kill, Elijah would be dead on the spot.

“I didn't know you're blind, princess,” Elijah said in a mocking tone and even snickered at Oceana who is now fuming mad.

“Can't you stop calling me princess?!”

“Who are you to order me?!”

“You're an asshole!”

“You're a self-centered freak!”

The rest of us just watched them bicker and spout hateful words at each other.

I released a sigh, we don't have much time and they dare to fight in the middle of this burning sun.

“Do you love calling each other shitty?” I asked coldly. Sabay silang lumingon sa akin na parehas na nagbabaga ang tingin ngunit nang makita nila na ako ang nagsalita ay bigla silang mga natuptop.

“Stop whatever the fuck you're doing, both of you are being a liability as of the moment. You don't want me leaving the two of you alone here, right?” I spoke with a subtle snarl, laced with venom. They both kept their mouths shut, lips formed into thin lines and diverted their eyes away.
