After fixing my bonnet, I turned around and embraced my boyfriend in a hug. He had that mischievous smile on his face, the one that always made me smile back without even realizing it.
He pulled out his phone, quickly snapping a picture of us in the reflection. "Nuh look like yah breed from back way enuh," he grinned, showing me the photo. "Mi know dats why a bay dem mi Aguh start post pon ig, or edit mi belly mek it flat Cah dem nah ketch me." I respond causing him to burst out a laugh.
"All when yah breed yuh wah ig baddie." I laughed, rolling my eyes at his cheesy line, but deep down, I couldn't argue with him. There was something about being with him that made everything feel like it fit. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we made our way into the bedroom, ready for bed in full swing.

Once we were under the covers, his body naturally found mine, pulling me into his chest. I rested my head on his shoulder, feeling the rise and fall of his breathing.

I lifted my head slightly, caught off guard by the sudden suggestion. "What?" I asked, blinking at him.
"Yeah," he said, brushing a lock of hair from my face. "I mean, it just makes sense, doesn't it? You, me, we aguh be a family now. Plus, yah carry mi child." His hand rested gently on my belly, and I felt a small flutter of excitement and nervousness at the same time.

I hesitated, biting my lip. "Mi nuh know... . MI and sky live together, you know that. It's just... I can't just leave her behind."
Memba Sky a mi little sister, had always been with me. We turned our damaged home into our little home together, since Zach moved out after our parents died and even though she loved spending time here at Dwayne's place, the thought of leaving her behind felt strange.
