"Mistress."

"Mistress, it's time for school."

"Wake the fuck up Aki! Get up when I tell you!"

I jumped out of bed in surprise and tumbled onto the cold floor. I hit my head on the wooden floor and groaned, rubbing the throbbing spot. Remind me to put in carpets.

I groaned again and opened my eyes slowly to notice Maria looking down at me with glaring eyes. I rolled onto my stomach, shrieking when the cold floor pressed against my bare stomach.

"We really need to install carpets," I heaved before standing up and adjusting my shorts.

Maria only grunted in reply before making my bed. I stared, waiting for anything more of an answer before speaking up. "What crawled up your ass and died?"

"You," she grumbled back.

I scrunched my nose up in disgust and trudged to my bathroom instead, opting for a shower. Maria managed to get a plumber to fix the shower head and set it up higher so I wouldn't smash my head into it again. I stepped inside and turned on the hot water, the water steaming as it hit the bottom of the stall.

I knew today would be a bad day when I felt the thought of sleep pull at the back of my mind. I looked through the fogged shower curtain and noticed Maria's shadow, "hey Maria."

She grunted in response, "I need you to set out a pair of high waisted black jeans, a thick black belt, and a long-sleeved, navy blue and white striped shirt. "

"No uniform today?"

I sighed and dropped my head to the side, tumping it against the wall. "I don't feel like going today," I practically sobbed, "I'm not going to attempt to be productive if I'm not comfortable."

The shampoo I used stung my eyes and I struggled to wash it away. Rubbing my eyes only seemed to make it worse. "Siri." I called out blindly, "play Korogaru Ishi Ni Nare by AKB48." I sighed and stood up just as the song began to play.

I sang loudly while struggling to rub away the shampoo in my eyes. After washing away everything, I turned off the shower head and stepped out, a towel wrapped around my body.

"We are the Team K!" I yelled, grabbing the hair dryer and blowing hot air in my face. I waved the dryer through my hair, the heat burning my scalp when I left it in one spot too long.

My playlist shifted to Blooming Day by CBX when I began to brush my hair, tugging the comb through the knots. When I was done, I grabbed my phone and stepped out the bathroom with a toothbrush in my mouth. I brushed my teeth and got dressed at the same time, noticing the dwindling amount of time I had left before I had to go to school. Music still blasted from my phone, the beat helping me rush.

I rushed back into the bathroom and spat out the toothpaste, washing my mouth out with water. I grabbed my hairbrush and tied my hair in a high ponytail, adorned by a long white ribbon tied into a bow.

"Ahhh!" I ran through my room yelling, grabbing everything I needed for school and shoving it in my bookbag. "Siri, stop playing Base Line!" I shoved my phone in my pocket and practically forced my feet into hightop white converse.

"Maria tell the chauffeur to pull up to the front door!" I ordered, partially out of breath from moving around so early in the morning.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and shoved my glasses up my nose. I sprinted down the staircase, stumbling to a stop when my foot slipped off the last step. "Fuck! I'm going to be late, no time for breakfast!"

A butler by the front entrance glanced down at his party size bag of Swedish Fish with a pout. "Have these!" He tossed them at me with teary eyes. "Tell Maria I ordered her to buy you more Swedish Fish when she goes shopping today. Bless you, son!" I ran outside, nearly body slamming the door in the process.
