Thunder rumbled dangerously loud outside as flashes of lightning illuminated the empty club room.

I slowly turned my head towards the windows and watched a flash of lighting come into view above the drenched courtyard. For the past hour, I had been painting the rainy scenery in front of me. I looked at my shining, silver watch in a peaceful manner and then continued painting the dreary but beautiful, rainy courtyard.

It was then, when I had just finished signing my name and storing the painted canvas in the corner to dry, the host club burst through the doors, with a weeping Haruhi in tow. My eyes narrowed.

"What did you do," my voice dripping with enough venom that everyone except the crying girl stepped back in uncertainty.

I walked up to Haruhi and embraced her, my hand wrapping around her small waist. She silently clung to my clothes and shook with tears, "storm," she whispered. I pulled her over to the windowsill and rubbed her back in understanding.

I sat with my back to the side of the sill, on a cushion and sat the girl on my lap in an embrace.

I fished my earphones out of my bag and put them on Haruhi and I with one bud in each ear, playing Don't Go (exo). She put her head against my chest and calmed down. Out the corner of my eye, I could see the host club watching me with smiles of affection.

I shooed them away with a flick of my hand, watching as they relaxed onto the couches near the front. When they sat down, I diverted my attention back to the courtyards, the warmth of Haruhi, the background music of The Truth Untold (bts) lulling me easily into slumber.

-

"Aww. They look so cute together! Look they're even sharing earphones!"

"Aki looks like a little baby doll. She has the soft round features for her face, small fragile soft pink lips, the long curly hair with a bow, tiny fingers, a small fragile dainty figure. She has it all! Even her height is super cute! She's cuter than Honey-senpai when she is asleep!"

"Sorry, Honey-Senpai."

"I'm so jealous!" I heard multiple whispering voices. At least they whispered.

"Hey, Mori-senpai! You like cute, small, fragile things right? Well, what about Aki-chan?" I heard the clacking of Takashi's shoes on the floor. I slowly opened my eyes, fully awake thanks to everyone's chatter. I looked down at Haruhi who had a blushing face.

"Hm?" I looked around. Everyone was around me blushing, including the host club. Including the emotionless Takashi and Kyouya.

What the fuck is going on.

"Hmm? What's going on you guys? Why's everyone around me? Tamaki? Can you help me?" I asked in a groggy voice with a yawn.

Everyone's face turned an even darker shade of red.

"S-sure!" He said stuttering in a bright shade of red. Haruhi moved off of me and let all of the cold air surround my body. A shudder wracked through my body.

Tamaki picked me up in a way you would carry a child, which I didn't mind. I wrapped my legs around Tamaki's torso and wound my arms around his neck for support. He put one of his arms underneath my butt and put one on the small part of my back. Honestly, I probably did look like a little girl and if it ended up with me being carried around like this, who am I to complain.

"Aw! Look at my little girl. My big boy is acting like a gentlemanly big brother! Isn't it adorable?" My father cooed snapping pictures of me and the host club along with some of the customers. Since when did he ever come into the host club?

Like father like son they say. The camera light flashed blinding me.

"Ow, daddy! That flash was in my eye!"

-

I sat on the couch watching the rain beat down on the windows with a large mug of warm tea resting in my hand.

A shiver wracked through my body once again and I drank my tea, hoping it would warm me up. The warmth of a blanket being placed over my legs broke me from my thoughts. I looked up into dark piercing eyes and I almost got caught staring too long.

Blinking, I looked away quickly, burying my nose in the tea mug, "thank you." My voice cracked in the process and I coughed, a speck of something colourful dripping down the corner of my mouth and onto my hand.

I stared at it before wiping my mouth to find more, but with no luck found nothing more.

What was that? I wiped my hand on my skirt and shook my head, sipping more tea.

I leaned back into the couch and sighed, pushing in earphones into my ears and playing Korean R&B, a smooth song by 오월 (owol) popped up on shuffle. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew I was asleep, thoughts of that colourful substance, rainstorms, and Takashi's piercing eyes flooding my mind.
