"Shahzain !!!" Humera yelled early in the morning as her husband pulled the duvet off her.
"Stop yelling and get up. Or else we will be late." Shahzain chided his wife.
It had already been three months since the death of Abdullah. The air around the Khans and co was going back to normal. Since it was the day off for both of them, they had decided to spend it together.
"Let me sleep, Shah, please." Humera whined.
"Either you wake up or else I will take Aaliya with me." As soon as the words came out of his mouth, a pillow hit him straight on his face.
After the rumors about them holding together was spread throughout the hospital, Aaliya had decided to insult Humera in front of some nurses and a few of the patients but Shahzain had somehow found out and had given a befitting reply to Aaliya to stay away from him and his wife. Since then, Aaliya had distanced herself from them but she would still occasionally pass glare at Humera.
After the drama created by Aaliya, everyone found out about her attraction for Shahzain and, the marital status of Shahzain and Humera.
"Say that woman's name one more time and I would kick you out of the house." Humera glared at her husband.
Shahzain gave her a smirk and shook his head. "I can see that you are fully awake now, dear wife. Would you be able to walk to the bathroom or should I help you?"
A smile spread on Humera's face and she lifted her hands to him. "Help me."
With a contented smile on his face, he picked Humera in a bridal style and took her to the bathroom. Humera looked at him with adoration on the way. She considered herself lucky to have him in her life. Shahzain loved her and he never shied to show his love and now that she had realized her love too, she was waiting for the chance to confess him.
From the starting of their marriage, Shahzain was considerate. Maybe because she had known him all life, Humera did not feel any awkward after getting married. For her, he was always her Shah. The guy who loved irritating her.
"Shall I accompany you?" Shahzain asked with a teasing smile as soon as he put her on her feet.
Humera blushed before pushing him away. "Go away."
Shahzain laughed at her red face and walked out of the bathroom. Entering the walk-in closet, he chose a flower kurti set for his woman. While she was inside, he got ready for their outing.
"Woah." Shahzain whistled as Humera came out in bathrobe. He checked her out with a teasing look making her blush in shyness. Humera rushed in the closet and after a while came wearing the dress, he had laid out for her.
"Hayee, Askim, how many times would you take away this poor heart?" Shahzain said looking at her. His eyes were full of love and adoration for the woman in front of him. Humera was Allah's precious gift for Shahzain and he never forget to thank Allah for bringing her in his life. His wife was everything to him.
Shahzain blew Ayat al Kursi at Humera and the two of them left the house for breakfast.
"So, where are we going?" Humera asked as the two of them settled in the car. Shahzain glanced at her and shook his head negatively.
"Shahzain." Humera whined as her husband started the car. Shahzain had just told her that they were going out. However, he had not mentioned anything about the place they were going.
"It's a surprise, Askim." This was the reply Shahzain had been giving his wife since the time she had started pestering him. It was not easy for him to give in as the way she was showing her innocent puppy dog eyes was melting him but he still decided to stay rigid to his own promise.
