I'm posting this now as I am almost done with Collapse. Once again, I always HIGHLY suggest you AT LEAST read Inspire and Collapse before reading this story as there is background information and scenes that will only be addressed in inner monologue for this story.
However, I will still give you some bullet points of information here.
First and foremost, I need everyone to know that this book has a couple of triggers, so I'll list those first.
Trigger warnings for Perish:
-Abuse (Not on page, but discussed).
-Trauma (Discussed).
-Abandonment (Discussed).
-Dark thoughts
None of these happen between the two man characters—they are things that happened in the past for one of the MCs.
Moving on.
For those who read Inhale, Exhale, and Breathe, you know who Davis Adler is. For those of you who don't and didn't read any books until this one, I shall give background.
Davis Adler was Elijah Luna's former artist manager and was fired for not only bullying Landon Luna (Elijah's little brother), but for splitting them apart for his own gain (the more money Elijah made, the more money he did). After which, since the world didn't know Landon was Elijah's brother, Davis posted online that Elijah had a stalker, and it was Landon. It caused Elijah's fan base to mercilessly attack Landon and even more chains of events. Including the MASSIVE decline to Elijah's mental health.
If you want to know more, you'll need to read Inhale, Exhale, and Breathe.
Kayax is the son of Davis Adler, and yes, that sounds awful maybe without context. But just remember, Kayax is not the sins of his father. Even if it appears that way.

This is a BL involving two clashing superstars who are constantly at each other's throats. It's a seemingly forbidden romance until it's not. It's a hurt/comfort, hate-to-love, forced proximity book with tons of fluff, too.
