The Land of Narnia ~ Beruna Field ~ Noon

Edmund, Sammy, Mr. Beaver, and I finally reached the rocks, and found that The Witch's army was following us. Edmund raised his sword, and the female centaur archers raised their bows, as did I. I suddenly remembered Father Christmas's words to me on my gift. 'Your arrows may look similar to those who do not see it, but your arrows can turn a target paralyzed, and they shall never be seen again.'

So, my arrows can turn a target paralyzed. I guess that will come in handy.

Edmund put his sword down, and we shot.

The brown and one blue arrow flew over the heads of our soldiers, but found a home in the enemy. I watched my arrow with great difficulty to find it, and when I did, I found that it had hit a Minotaur, and the arrow was stuck in his shoulder, and he was frozen. Then, the arrow dissolved into dust, and the Minotaur fell to the ground. I smiled, and I looked at Sammy, who seemed to watch it happen.

"Wow, Ally. That's impressive!" Sammy exclaimed.

"Thanks, Sammy!" I called back, and shot another one. Just then, something caught my eye. It was the Witch's head dwarf, Ginarrbrik, was pointing an arrow at Peter's unicorn.

"Peter! Watch out!" I called. Peter turned to look in the direction his name was called, but it was too late. The arrow struck the unicorn's front leg, and it gave out a pained whinny, and it crashed to the ground. Peter went flying.

I looked at Edmund, and he looked worried. Orieus was looking at us, and followed our gazes, realising that Peter's unicorn was hurt. The rhino next to him called out angrily. I saw the Witch eyeing Peter, who was blinking, trying to get back to his senses. Orieus and the rhino started charging toward the Witch. As they past Peter, he shouted. "Stop!"

They didn't listen. They continued as though Peter didn't shout. The rhino pushed through them as though they were tiny plastic figurines, and when he was pushed down, Orieus continued, stabbing anyone who dare entered his path.

He was charging toward the Witch, and I knew he wouldn't last long. The Witch was so powerful, with that staff of hers. (Sammy had told me about the staff turning the helpful fox to stone.)

The leader black Minotaur came toward him, and he didn't stop. It took two swords in the Minotaur to defeat him. Orieus drew his last and final sword. With his adrenaline, he was able to take down all the creatures in one hit. He swung at the Witch, but she dodged it swiftly. Orieus came back, and the two had a little compact, until Orieus's side was unprotected, and Edmund, Peter, Sammy and I watched unhelpfully as Orieus was turned to stone.

More and more creatures tried to do what Orieus couldn't, but they were all turned to stone. All around us, our army was growing smaller and smaller, getting destroyed easier and easier. Peter looked around helplessly in the middle of all of it, noticing our side losing. Edmund and I looked at each other, and we ran onto the scene, Sammy following. We both started to fight the enemy. Adrenaline was pounding through me, which gave me an advantage.

"Now this is more like it!" Sammy exclaimed.

"Not now, Sammy." I called back, stabbing a creature that almost stabbed me. "Later!"

Peter looked towards the Witch, and saw two Gryphons coming towards her. She swung her sword and staff tauntingly, and as they flew by, she stabbed one which fell to the ground, and stuck the other with her staff.

The Gryphon that was struck with the staff, froze into stone midair, and crashed into a boulder, exploding into pieces.

Peter looked at the Witch, who was now looking at him. He suddenly realised we were here too.
