What if
I don't want to live like they did
What if i was born
To burn all the bridges?
What if i was born
To pack my things and leave?
Move alone in my own home
What if i'm meant to
Draw a path that's different from all of you
What if i want my life brand new
What if i don't like what you do?
What if i'm one of a kind
What if i'm meant to find
My own path
What if i'm not a cycle breaker
But a cycle starter
Of a new, more joyful way of living
What if it doesn't look like
How you pictured it to be
What if i don't listen to what the world wants from me?
What if i listen to my own voice
And make my own choices
And realize
That this life is mine
And i have the free will
To live it as i like
What if i don't want to hide
I'm tired
Of having a life
That doesn't feel like mine
So guess i have to start
Taking the steps
That led me to where
I was always meant to be at.
